I knew the lego games were a mess but my god. It's so bad it hurts

1st time I heard about Freedom Wars.
Now we have, what, 3 Monster Hunter-like games for Vita already? 4 if you count Gods Eater.
It is as if people are afraid to not creating full-fledged RPG games for Vita that doesn't copy Monster Hunter in some way in order to get some sales.

I think it's more that they're targeting a specific demographic (Japanese gamers who love games of the genre because they're thinking the sales will be there).

The guys at pwnee apparently don't know if Vita will be cross-buy because the game isn't done yet, but they are discussing it with Sony/Ubisoft.

Yep the sequel will be on the Vita. Yoshida said he pushing for localizing it.

It's not a lot in an absolute sense, but it only amplifies Vita's pretty gaping genre holes. We have approximately 129 fighting games, for instance, yet barely any single-player focused 3D action or adventure games (1st or 3rd person), the highest-selling genres of this generation.

The Pwnee guys said to keep an eye on their twitter/facebook/website; if they could make crossbuy happen and confirm it while the game is in pre-order/PLAY 2013 promotion, it'd probably be a big deal to them, so hopefully they can figure that out sooner rather than later. I'm tempted to buy the PS3 copy for a "LIMBO" type surprise crossbuy, but I'd be pissed if I did and it didn't happen, because ideally I want the game on PC and Vita, as I want ALL my indies. :lol
Finally caught a break lol was sure that would be one firsr page for weeks.
These are basically the only games I want to see coming forward, maybe another racer, sorry guys need my fix.

There are barely any on the 3ds as well, I just don't think there are many handheld studios making those types of games.
And we have 3 shooters already, with killzone coming up, the number of hunting games is actually not that different from the number of shooters.

PSP had a ton of them, though, and they were all encumbered by the lack of a second analog.
MGS, GTA, Syphon Filter, SOCOM, MoH, Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell, FF7:CC, Dead to Rights, 3rd Birthday, The Warriors, Star Wars Battlefront, Brothers in Arms, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, 007, Rainbow Six, Spider Man, Army of Two...it just goes on.
And now that we finally have a handheld that can do these genres justice, utter radio silence. It's so maddeningly ironic.
The psp is also out for like 8 years? The vita is out for 1 year and 4 months. Lets get realistic. I never had the impression the psp had a lot of shooters when I owned the device. Just a couple a year, which is what vita got so far tbh.

We have uncharted, ass creed and unit 13 (hey you listed army of two), Resistance, and COD. Killzone is on it's way and eve though I'm not into Killzone it at least looks like it has some effort

Er, most of those games were released in the first two years of PSP's lifecycle before hardware and software sales fell off a cliff.
Meh, not worth arguing over something so obvious. Vita is deficient in many genres that PSP wasn't (ex. sports, action, racing), and these genres happen to be the ones with the most mainstream appeal.
Its terrible sales are no mystery.

Really enjoying Doodle God. It's not really a game as such, more a simplified crafting logic, uh, thing. Just working from a base of four elements and combining to create more and more items. It's very cathartic, with clean UI and good production values for what is ostensibly a relatively static menu-driven experience.
It's not at all for everyone, but if you're looking for something a little relaxing with a tidy sense of progression for the dopamine release, then Doodle God is quite nice.
You could pick up the iOS version for cheaper or even just play the free Kongregate version. Just another option to sate a mood on the Vita for me.

I've A+ on all but 2 levels and only used lock on twice (i the same level just to keep a combo going) i didn't even know there was a button for it i used the touch screen

Well, 4 out of 1000 is very little yes, but then again 4 out of 10 can be summed as "a lot" too.
We very rarely get English-released (I assume that Freedom game will be released in English since it's a 1st party game) full-fledged RPG games on Vita and a great number of what we actually get are all Monster Hunter like.
