PJM HD
Tearaway
Killzone (not on the list:))
And spellunky are day one purchases for me. I'm sure more games are coming later this year.

Killzone has never been a 'must have' franchise for me - to this day Killzone 2 was the only one I've bought.

My list is more of a "I'm interested" list - Spelunky, PJM: HD, Tearaway, Terraria and potentially Starlight are my must haves.

In considering what we know is coming (and has been offically announced) my must have games are probably

Terraria
Spelunky
Rainbow Moon
Dragons Crown
Killzone Mercs
Tareaway
Disgaea 4
Kickbeat
And Rayman Legends.

Lots of other games I want but these are the games I will buy at, or close to launch reguardless of anything else. Ill also be getting a PS4 so my game budget will likely be kind of light by the end of the year. If Injustice gets announced that will be up there also.

Hotline Miami is still kicking my ass, but I've also proceded to level 10.

I also discovered the camera for taking pictures. With a little baby it's actually quite nice to get a wide screen angle instead of the crappy phone pics I usually take.

Sigh cross buy where you buy the physical ps3 and get the digital vita copy is less appealing to me now my 32gb card is full, until we get bigger cards, i dont want to keep deleting and redownloading

Just picked up Persona 4 Golden for the vita and will start playing tonight. What difficulty should I start on? I've never played a Persona game and I usually like a decent challenge.

Start on normal. The first two dungeons are pretty tough, but by mid-game you'll have the mechanics down and will slay shadows with ease.

I must be weird because I really don't mind this. There aren't many games where I need to always have on my card. And all of those I do fit on my 16GB.

I don't need to keep Uncharted and Ninja Gaiden forever. Most of the indie pick up and play stuff is pretty low sized.

Only problem I had was I forgot the saves are attached to the files and I didn't upload my sound shapes save to PS+ :(

Really wish they made a 64 GB card or larger already. I don't see it ever happening, better chance of a revision that just lets you use some SD card than that shrug.

I think it will happen, Sony acknowledged that was one of the most common requests for the Vita (from Japan) - as well as more games :)

I don't want the game to get so easy it's boring.

Can't really help you but I imagine normal would be good, any harder and you may have to spend longer grinding or something...wait for others just in case though.

I actually pull the Vita out when I want to take a quick snap around the house too. Mainly because it auto connects to my PC with content manager for transfers rather than a multiple step process with my phone.

Hard honestly. Normal and easy are a joke. Game has a ton of little changes that make it easier than the original. Just my opinion though. Awesome game your in for a fun ride I am actually finishing a hard run atm. Others are right after first few dungeons smooth sailing. Personally I don't mind grinding in these games though so take that as you will.

I don't think a 128gb card would solve my storage issues. :/

Really? I think a 128gb card would do very nicely for me for a good long while, and I buy everything digitaly. Though I also do not keep everything stored on my card, only the stuff I know i will play for a long time.

Or did/are you going to sell it due to lack of info?

Random question out of curiosity:

Does anyone know how much does the 4GB Vita cards (largest one possible iirc) cost for publishers? I want to get an idea of the difference in cost between putting out a PS3 game and a Vita game.

Just my opinion but Normal should be good for a first run, where you should be taking in the story and mastering the mechanics instead of grinding out of necessity to beat the bosses. Especially since it's your first Persona game (though P4G is more forgiving than say P3P).

You're likely to do a NG+ anyway and you can experiment with the difficulty settings there all you want (NG+ allows you to tweak difficulty settings at any time).

As someone who has been gaming with playstation for a long time there are a ton of Sony IPs that I want to make a return. To be honest I dont know if they would "Need" to come back from grave, but as a fan I would be over joyed at the return of some of my favorite dormant Sony IPs.

Games like:
Alundra
Legend of Dragoon
Arc the Lad
Dark Cloud
The mark of Kri
Wild Arms
Etc

Sony just has a ton of IP that they have let go by the wayside, and its alittle disappointing at times because of how good some of these games could be if brought to curreng/next gen system, or entirely made into franchises for the Vita exclusively.

With all Sonys talk of bringing back the old days, im really hoping to see some of these great franchises brought back to life.

One of the things that I love about Sony is that they don't really milk franchises. We typically see at most 3 entries in any one IP, with a couple notable exceptions like GT and Ratchet and Clank.

I wrote a few words on Doodle God if you want the skinny on this bizarre thing.

Usual massive caveats; not for everyone, highly debatable 'game', browser version free, cheaper on iOS, Android etc. etc. But it's very relaxing in bite-sized sessions for the Vita. Still waiting for my portable life sim/terrarium, but Doodle God fits a strange bill.

Fuck fuck fuck.

I got that Persona 4 Golden card from a friend and intended to buy it from him, but at a later point, so I didn't re-initialized at first. I thought I could transfer my save via PlayStation +, but just found out I can't and now have a unusable save 10 hours in the game.

Why is the whole user/property system so contrived on Vitaaaaaaaaaaaaarlhrgqhgr

Guess I'll just start over.

Note: For those wondering what I'm talking about, retail game cards can only be associated to one system, if you use it on another system it still works but you don't get trophies and, as I just found out, can't use cloud saves. Maybe there's more, I'm not sure (no DLC maybe?)

To be honest, I never really had to grind for P4 aside for one boss early on (won't spoil it, but yeah, that was entirely bullshit
double teaming
).

Since one run through a dungeon is pushing it early on, giving MP recovery and HP limits, you'll go at a min. 2 times through the dungeon. I think with a good strategy you should find it manageable.

For those complaining about storage issues, why don't you guys just copy these games to PC and copy back whenever you want? It barely takes a minute or so to do this and we don't have to download all this again.

:p no

loading the pc, getting the cables, making the space on the hard drive, updating content manager :p

then the transfers themselves are slooowww, both from vita to pc and back. It takes about 10 minutes unless you're transferring like 1 small game. I like having my Vita as a pick up and play device, not just another console with extra hassles.

hell, even deleting a game from the vita can take a minute :p

forgetting about the games since they're out of sight becomes an issue after a while too.

switching out one card (and powering the vita off) is sort of okay, it takes about a minute but it means you have to firstly carry the card, second fiddle with it (it's tiny, switching would be a hassle on the train) and thirdly it means you don't get to arrange your games in one collection all nice like :)

The transfers are so slow and inconvenient, I even have started just deleting and redownloading games (savegames are on PS+). This also saves a lo of hdd space looking at my library.

I dont really disagree altogether, but there are some franchises that I think Sony should have kept going, if only to ensure a series in each genre.

For instance out of the big three Sony is the only one that does not have a currently running RPG franchise(which is my favorite genre).

Nintendo has stuff like Pokemon, Fire Emblem, etc.

MS has Fable atleast ( i enjoyed the first two).

And Sony has a ton of RPG ip but they are all pretty much dead. They could easily bring back Champions of Norrath, Alundra, Wild Arms, or Dark Cloud just to name a few for the genre, but instead they keep pumping out Killzone, and while I dont mind the series I got into playstation because of RPGs.

Huh. I always thought those were 3rd party owned rpgs.

No, many of them are similar to Demon's souls in that a third party developer made the game, but Sony owns the IP. They own quite a few RPG IP, but have let them all die, which is sad when SCEJ seems to have had nothing to do all generation.

From The Walking Dead Season 2 Details thread :

What say you Vita'ers? worth a Vita purchase?

This is good news, but im much more interested to know if we are getting Fables on the Vita.

I don't have any storage "issues" with my 32GB card, though obviously I'd like for it to be larger. Fuck downloading stuff over and over again though. I just transfer back and forth from my computer. Sometimes I'll even set it to transfer a bunch of shit over wifi while I sleep because I'm too lazy to get out of bed. :D

Thats what I did until recently. Had 8gb from launch. Sucks but not the end of the world. 32gb feels nice but wish I could have gotten even bigger card honestly.

Isn't Keiji Inafune said he was talking with Sony about Soul Sacrifice sequel.

I hope that he doesn't make a direct sequel but something more of a spiritual sequel using the same engine and combat, which I really liked. but I feel that the game need a new art direction and settings to attract a wider audience in the sequel.

I think the combat would suit a diablo like game more than a boss fight focused one, would need to add equipment drops in addition to the spells and make the sacrifice/save thing a small aoe around the player with a faster animation.

As far as storage I bought a few of my first games for the system digitally (lbp, hsg, lumines, nlks) but now with PS+ and all the DD only stuff It's pretty much forcing me to retail for anything that has that available.

In an SS sequel, the removal or heavy nerfing of golems is mandatory. So OP.

It'd also be nice if holy/chaos weren't so black and white (ahem), it sucks wanting to go a holy route and being useless power-wise. I'd prefer it if it were more for aesthetics, or perhaps making it the divider between what type of spells you get to use (such as Holy's being a bit more support-oriented, but but ultimately user-chosen and not strictly /weaker/. Picture a Holy guy attacking with plant and blood spells, a Chaos guy attacking with swords and boulders)
