Just tried to download Dokuro from the PSN Store. It hung up on the Preparing To Download.

I swear this happens 50% of the time when I try downloading things. Still happening to anyone else?

I can confirm PixelJunk Monsters looks and runs great on Vita! Colors just pop!

For anyone interested its a must buy for the $12 price point.

I can't believe I still can't download stuff from the PSN without having to reboot my Vita. Why isn't this fixed Sony?!?!?!....

I meant that Nikoli puzzle game, but Ten by Eight looks cool too. I'll probably have to pick that up.

Buying from the website instead of the store app on the vita may help.

It does help a lot, but Sony needs to try to fix that shit some time before the PS6 comes out.

somebody explain the appeal of this game. Everyone says it's amazing but every time I see it in action...I'm missing something. I want to want it!

Cloudberry Kingdom is really fun, and really hard. But hard platforming is often fun for a platforming fiend like me. Hopefully it comes to Vita sooner rather than later and I pray that it's Cross-Buy because I'm definitely not buying it again.

Its a tower defense game where you move a tiki dude around an area to build stuff. Its...alright. In my honest opinion not worth the $12. I bought the PSP game last summer because it was hyped up and it was only like $3. It was fun for a while but then its just whatever. If you're into tower defense games its probably worth it, if not, I'd wait for a price drop.

Im pretty sure after 1 download you just need to either close the store completely or if that doesnt work turn the vita off completely to reset the store.. I actually havent been having any issues of late, but i also dont try to download multiplethings in succession either

I have the same problem. I thought they fixed this crap. Happened to me when I tried to get Metal Slug earlier.

Okay guys - what difficulty do i start p4g on? Is normal too easy?

Normal is a good starting point for your first time to get the most enjoyment. Higher difficulties simply decrease the EXP you earn (forcing more grinding) and damage you do to enemies while increasing what they to do you.

The biggest difficulty spike will be in the first dungeon during the game's third boss (counting the tutorial boss). After that the game feels pretty fair.

Pixeljunk Monsters is the best tower defense game ever. I'm a td junky and I've probably played over 100 hours of pjm. It's that good.

But it is tower defense. It might be the best but it doesn't transcend the genre. If you hate TD games you may like the aesthetics of pjm enough for a little bit of fun but at the end of the day it's still a tower defense game.

I don't think the vita version will hook me like prior versions because there's nothing new but for now I'm enjoying going through it again.

Missed this on PS3. I really like playing these smaller PSN games on Vita.

BTW, Stealth Inc A Clone In The Dark is pretty awesome so far for anyone interested, but I love stealth games.

So I know we haven't even hit Gamescom, but it's unlikely to come with any JP games. So does anyone have an early wishlist for TGS?

Personally I'd like to see
- Dangan Ronpa 3
- The Shinjeki no Kyojin game confirmed to be on Vita in some form
- Some Persona related announcement, if 5 isn't going to be on Vita, perhaps 3 AGAIN
- Some announcement from Squeenix

This would make me very happy.

Not a visual novel?

The voting for Game of the Minth is now cloooooosed. The winner will be posted tomorrow along with the new thread~

Amusingly enough, not one person picked the winner as their #1 choice. It won because a majority of the voters simply had it on their list.

People have been waiting for a good showing at any of the major shows (E3, Gamescom, TGS) since E3 2011.

What I don't get is that people are justifying the PS4 focus by saying it's a new console and needs all the push it can get... well, then that's fine; but then when is the Vita focus going to happen since it didn't come at Gamescom 2011, TGS 2011, E3 2012, Gamescom 2012, TGS 2012, and E3 2013. Even the Vita Heaven event in 2012 was abandoned in Japan and pushed to 2013 largely to announce a F2P game and a price drop.

But, yeah... 'wait and see'...

Oh, TGS 2011 and TGS 2012 were definitely Vita focused. I suffered through both. The problem is that SCEJ takes 20 minutes to announce a single game and what they announced wasn't that earth shattering, with some of it being leaked via Famitsu flying gets.TGS 2011 had Vita's launch lineup announced, alongside an OS demonstration, Final Fantasy X HD, and more Hideo Kojima lies. TGS 2012 had more Soul Sacrifice, God Eater 2, Toukiden, Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus, Valhalla Knights 3, Muramasa Rebirth, and Gundam Breaker.

What if I like TD games sometimes but I didn't like the previous PJM versions?
Not quite sure where I fit in there...

Without confirmation from Sony/Pwnee/Ubisoft, I wasn't willing to drop $8 on it and hope like you are.
Brave man.
It's a shame, because I doubt I'll bother with it now... if buying it at a $2 discount got me another $3 since I bought Stealth Inc... I'm there... but at $10 flat? No thanks, guys. Missed sale opportunity, right here!

I finally picked up Everybody's Golf today and I'm having a blast. I honestly didn't expect that I'd like a game about a sport I've never played, but this is surprisingly satisfying. However, I had to almost immediately disable the caddy voices as I found them extremely grating.

For those that have played it, which character to you prefer to play? Still trying to make sense of all the statistics they have to offer and the differences they make.

The cute one ;p

Sega projects 650k Vita software sales

Since only stuff anouced so far is Miku and that football game there must be something not so small in the pipeline too.
Maybe rumored Football Manager.

I'm toying with the idea of buying P4G off eBay, all the cheaper ones say "Region free" but seem to be NTSC versions and I'm in the UK (PAL). Will this cause me any problems with the online side of things? will have to go through all that palaver of creating an alternate online ID and using a different memory card?

Many thanks.

You can play any version of P4G from any region with any account. The only time you have to worry about that is if the game you want to play has an online pass, which would require you to go to that region's store.

Played 6 hours of P3P on my Vita today.

It's nice to play a handheld and not have my hands hurt like hell afterwards.

Hehe that happened to me with P3P a couple of times. Probably because PSP games don't drain the battery as quickly, it was always surprising when I realized how much time had passed by without my realizing it. Usually the Vita's battery life is my "timer" to let me know when I've played enough for one sitting.

Hey. I'm in the UK and thinking about buying a 3G PS Vita and was wondering whether it comes with a Sim card included. I thought they did a partnership with Vodafone?

Don't forget DLC! Locked off in the store in general, but JPN/Asian releases have locked DLC as well (so if you're on a JPN account, only buy JPN games if it comes with a code).

I'm so happy with my Vita, and everytime I play it I can think of so many games that would be awesome on it.

I think I might get another memory card and have my US account on there, here in Australia we get so ripped off with prices - it's almost beneficial to have a PS+ account for it too.

Well yeah, that too, but his specific concern was about using online features, not buying DLC. :p

Go grab your free lego lord of the rings and when vikings attack as they are up via search in the uk store but beware of PixelJunk monsters as the ps+ discount has not been applied yet although the superfrog he does have the discount :)

I imported a US copy because I wanted to play it so much and im in the UK. Games works fine along with its online stuff. Its only things like DLC and online passes that cause issues. This game has neither.

In all honest the 3g model is mostly a waste of time. You have to pay for a new data contract and there isnt much the 3g gives you. If you have a smart phone that can do tethering then it becomes completely pointless.

Ozgameshop is a decent alternative for physical copies, but a US account is definitely cheaper for digital releases. I recently made an EU account simply for a larger selection of digital titles along with DLC support for any retail releases I buy, even if prices aren't as cheap as the US PSN.
