Pretty sure that CBOAT isn't dumb enough to just compromise him/herself like that. You don't actually know if CBOAT is in Germany, actually went to churches or any of it. It's just more useful noise. More fuct punctuation and spelling.

Don't confuse being salty with delivering the news (which are bad). He has given good news too, Black Tusk's game looking amazing, and some other stuff.
He said "before you get mad at me Xbottlers" because the news he delivers have been bad and some people around seem to get angry because of that, even reaching to the point of doubting whatever he says because of one mistake like the PoP reveal (Mirror's Edge 2 was never said to be shown in the MS conference, mind you, just that it was going to be shown that day).
I guess Famous Mortimer, and many other Sony insiders were salty for the PS4 when they were talking about DRM and pay to play, right?

Calling it now if the PS4 does launch it October - Microsoft will have the next gen version of Cal of Duty Ghosts delayed. No fucking way they will allow Sony to take their #1 seller.
You have no idea how much the Kinect camera costs or what percentage of the cost of the build goes into each system. There is NO guarantee that them removing the Kinect would significantly drop the price. I seriously doubt it is almost as much as the One to make. Id love to see you back up this post.
With Xbone apologists its always "well if MS did this and if MS dropped the price of this they would dominate Sony....blah blah blah"

Instead of focusing on what MS is ACTUALLY doing and that is getting the crap beat out of themselves and by Sony.
Sony could also drop the price of their console to $299. I can play the hypothetical "what if" game too. At the end of the day it means nothing. All we know is that in the NOW Sony is humiliating MS.
I don't even see why an Xbox One fan would be angry with any of this news. At the end of the day I see a correctable performance issue, a Microsoft backed Platinum project and a chance of further Japanese support down the line. There's no live stream of the GDC, they're not going to have an early October launch/Sony may release weeks ahead of them and Big Park canceled a game. Big deal. The biggest news here is that Microsoft is potentially getting some great games. Everything else outside of the Rare news is only awe inducing if you give a shit about console sales, or attach your well being to that of a company's success or lack of success. At the end of the day I want to play video games, so that's what I ultimately look for in these leaks.
I'm not quite sure I believe the Rare news considering the type of talent they were hiring, and opening positions that asked for potential employees who were looking at "joining at a time when the studio is looking to move into new areas and develop new IPs for future platforms. You will have a successful history of releasing exceptional AAA games and these will ideally be in the Action/Adventure or FPS genre but this is not essential." But then again, they had openings with descriptions asking for experience with motion gaming, so I guess we'll see.

He's not one person, whoever the current CBOAT is, when things get too hot for him (or just doesn't feel like doing it anymore), he steps down and gives the CBOAT mantle to someone else.

Since the OG Kinect sold for $150, I'm not willing to believe that all the tech in the Kinect 2.0 is somehow less. Not to mention, as much as we give him crap, the Xbox One dev went on record to say that the Kinect 2 was a much bigger investment than the console itself. I'm inclined to believe they could sell and Xbox One without a kinect for as low as $299, which was their original prediction in the leaked MS documents.
Don't forget the hundreds of millions that MS has invested in R&D costs that they need to recoup. That alone would put them at parity with the PS4 at the least. At that point, the general consumer goes with whatever brand they're loyal too or what they see advertised the most. The XB1 would sell a ton in its major markets at the same price, and there's no reason to give away $50 on every unit sold.
They'd just launch the day it came out.

Actually, was thinking: if s/he's in the with mods, which seems likely, the best thing todo would be to email a mod directly with something (maybe even encrypted, heh) and have the mod log in as that user and post it.

It's more neutral news than bad news. It's more "Huh, that's interesting".
How? It'll bring the price down quite a bit... sure they'll eat their losses in that department, but they'll pick up marketshare with the competitive price.
