I remember having that. I'm sure you could play that real time as well so it did take all day.
Yep, full 24 hours. Loved that game. It had 12+ cars on the track at once too.

Yes, Evolution is failing on this. We told them clearly months before Gamescom that we wanted to see 1080p high-bit rate game footage. So they have had plenty of time to prepare. Doing one good lap around the Gamescom demo track and recording it at 1080p and then uploading it should not take even take one man-hour of effort.
I think we will see the 1080p footage next week based on Rushy's comments.

I'm surprised by all the gushing love here, it does look great, no question, but to me it really doesn't look that far ahead of what can be done on current gen..!?
Sounds are good, also looks like you can drive the cars in a sim manner, if you so wish.

Take a look at the roadside detail, imagine that at a crisp 1080p, plus the ability to run at any time of time, so bright sunlight to full darkness.

I'll keep my responses to myself for the moment, there may be some humble pie to be eaten. If they get it to 60fps, I'll have another look at a 1080p feed. I've played a lot of Dirt 2/3 on pc so maybe I'm just spoilt
...but it was only 30 fps.
Definitely not running 60. Pay attention in particular from 1:20 - 1:30 and you'll even see pretty bad frame drops
I don't want to start a comparison, but after watching the Forza 5 video and being super impressed with the lighting and shadow work on the dashboard, looking at the same effects in Drive Club makes it stand out like a sore thumb how bad it looks, it's really several steps below Forza 5 lighting and shadows on that dash.

That lighting is top notch. I don't understand the issue with direct-feed not being out there yet. What's the hold up? Must be showing something they aren't proud of.
meanwhile KZSF MP is out there and it looks beautiful

The very first frame of the video says 30fps in big bold letters... Did you even watch it? Or are you just thread crapping?
That was a neat touch. But what are the little puffs of smoke in the curve area?
I think its a solo score attack? Although the minimap shows more than one dot and an arrow, so maybe the other cars were behind? Or it just shows the competitor's ghost spot?
