Anyways I'm backing this because it has the day zero sale price and I know this game is being made for a console that I want it on. If more reliable companies did stuff like this I'd back more games. This to me is exactly the same as a Newegg preorder deal.

I didn't expect this to be another Shantae game since there's already one that isn't released yet on the way. I hope that if they're crowd-funded, they'll be able to make a complete game this time, though.

Looks like the same sprites in a 3D world approach DuckTales took, but much more cohesive. Wonder just how long these chapters are.

I think this may be the first Kickstarter project that I actually back. Wouldn't mind going for the $35 tier to get that digital artbook and soundtrack.

Previous trends point to Kickstarters rarely detracting from one another. I'd imagine having a bunch of old-school 2D platformer fans currently "on" Kickstarter will only do Shantae favours.

Normally I'd be down for the hardcover art book, but I can't justify spending that much on two KSs at about the same time. In my solitary, specific case, their timing cost them around $188.

Nah, if a developer you trust makes a game you want, that is the proper order. I used it for Project Eternity, with a rather high pledge level.
