looks nice :)

goal : 400 000 $ until 4th of october, looks realistic to get it :)

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero continues the tradition of action/adventure in the spirit of Metroid, Castlevania, and the Legend of Zelda. Our goal is to introduce Shantae to a whole new audience with a fresh art style and a brand spanking new storyline. As always, we're putting pitch perfect controls in the front seat.

Oh man, I'm so gonna donate...I just hope it gets funded :( I mean, Risky's Revenge still hasn't even been greenlit on steam.

I like the original art style, but I love the new art style too.

was waiting for a 3ds version, but steam will do, as there is a 3ds shantae coming :)

stretch goals are nice too, 500 000 $ gets Risky boots playable :)

Little weird to have a Kickstarter for a new game when the other one hasn't come out yet.

Oh well, put in the cheap price and if I can get more money later I'll give a bit more.

This would have been a smarter move on their part to launch *after* releasing Shantae on Steam (now that it got Greenlit). As it stands nobody really knows wtf Shantae is on PC.

Much better than WF working on another established IP that they'll possibly botch. Love me some Shantae.

Never heard of this guy. Where's the art you're talking about? I'd love to see it.

I wasn't really expecting a Kickstarter for Shantae. I was hoping it would be a new IP from them. Oh well, I hope it succeeds which I'm pretty sure it will.

I also hope they add Vita to that extensive list of platforms. Would love to play this on the go.

Did the 3DS game die? I was under the impression they were releasing the sequel to the DSi game on the 3DS eShop?

Looks like the same sprites in a 3D world approach DuckTales took, but much more cohesive. Wonder just how long these chapters are.

I want this on Vita. It annoys me when a Kickstarter will have Wii U support, but no Vita support (though sometimes it is understandable).

In for 12 bucks. Why not? I enjoyed the DSiware game and am currently playing though the original on VC. Looking forward to Pirate's Curse as well!
