So how is the mission structure handled? Can you actually miss missions because you are messing around on another character? Do you lose access to a character for a while due to story reasons? For example say one says they have to do something but then you only have access to the other two until the third is finished doing something that simply isn't possible by playing the game. Do you miss parts of mission or the lead up to them by playing one character instead of another? Or will you see all of the lead up regardless?
That's some bullshit right there. I always install all my games fully. The disk drive is way too loud. I hope they patch this or something. I wonder if this is what is causing the crashes I've heard about.
I don't know if there are missable missions, random ones sure (blue dots, you'll know when your minimap flashes for a second) since you can just drive by and ignore it; you can also attempt to do it and fuck it up by pulling out your gun prematurely.
Yes, you lose access to one or two characters due to story. And yeah, you eventually do run out of missions for a particular character, and "force" you to switch just to progress the story.
It'll give you information about it; when you're swapping between characters on the HUD, there's a little number below each portrait that tells you how many missions they have available. Or you can just bring up the main map and see if there are any colored icons associated with that particular character.
Nothing that in depth, no. Imagine having access to GTAIV, Lost and Damned, and Gay Tony all at once. You're basically just filling out each character's missions until you get to a heist, and when you're planning a heist you can complete each lead-up task with any of the characters most of the time.
The Red Dead Redemption-style strangers & freaks missions are all character specific, too.
So I just played this super-ridiculous mission and then spent like 10 minutes searching for the song that plays during it:
(not a radio song, but something that plays for you. Be warned if you'd rather just experience it)

10 missions left in the story . What a ride so far. The story probably takes 25-30 hours to beat total.
My god man, don't you want to savor it a little while.
Stories that good. I'm not even 50% complete, The story drives through so fast because its so fun and addicting.
Which system did you get it for?
I think it depends on the car, a quad bike or something is possible, a truck not so much.
360. Runs great and looks amazing.

I have it pre-ordered for the 360, did you install the game, or are you running it off the disc?
Which version do you have?
bogey?
Any free roam live streams on?
I am amazed at all this talk of shitty frame rates since everything we hasve seen has been so incredibly smooth.

What do you mean mission embargo?
What do you mean mission embargo?
No Vice City? Lol.
I love seeing those GTA 2 graphics. The current does not look so special after seeing what they do with mods on PC.
