Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Probably just 2 keys (A and B) if they haven't changed it since I last posted about it.

That sucks. Was going to buy this for The Guild 2 and Painkiller but knowing it's all two keys I'll probably pass completely.

Are any of these games good? Already own RF:A (haven't played it yet, of course).

Supreme Commander is a pretty good RTS. SupCom2 is better, but for 1$, you can't really go wrong there.
ArcaniA is a Gothic game, so fantasy RPG.
Neighbours from hell is just shit.

It's one key for the Humble Nordic Weekly sale without beating the average - and presumably two if you beat the average.

I want Darksiders 2 but I don't want my backlog to get any bigger and I doubt I'll get around to playing it anytime soon.

(Plus I never finished the first Darksiders)

The last dungeon in the original Darksiders ruined that game and any hope of me ever playing part 2.

Already own SC2, no idea how or when. Is Arcania a good RPG?

Supreme Commander - Fantastic RTS, true successor to Total Annihilation.
The Guild 2 - Pretty interesting city building/rpg hybrid thingy. Not sure if this bundle includes all the expansions or not though.
Neighbours from Hell - Haven't played
Painkiller HD - Shitty remake of an amazing game. If you want Painkiller, Painkiller Black is the way to go.
Arcania - It's actually a pretty solid RPG if you can ignore the Gothic 4 part of the title and treat it as it's own thing.
Darksiders II - Fantastic game.
Spellforce II F&D - SF2 and it's first expansion are really really great RPG/RTS hybrids. F&D was made by a different team, so I don't know if it's as good, but assuming they didn't cock it up it's probably good.

BGII:EE just showed up on the registry!

Wasn't on the press release, so I figured it wouldn't be released until later and without Beamdog's consent. Publisher is still Atari.

I want this so bad.

Anyone getting F1 2013? Not sure if the preorder BS is worth it.

meh i prefer to do what i did: bought 2012 yesterday for $8. sure it's an older version, but mods....mods everywhere, and F1 is the kind of game that really benefits from some good ass mods. i prefer to stay a year behind on those types of games (like nba 2k) because of that reason, they get soooo much better with mods, they don't cost shit by then, and you don't have to deal with glitchy ass shit that will be patched/fixed by mods later as well, the game is developed by codemasters my friend

Do they significantly improve those games every year or is it pretty much just roster updates?

Yup. It's far from great, but I've play way worse. It's on the same level as something like Two Worlds 2.
Totally agree. I do like TW2 slightly better though because it has funky physics on top of the janky low-budget open world for extra fun.

It's crazy when the developers do something right.

I'm all for people playing a game however they want to unless it's playing the game in a way that makes them resent it more just because.

Sort of like when people force themselves to play on hard and then complain that it wasn't fun because it was bullshit difficulty. Or when people look down upon those who play on easy saying "THAT'S CASUAL AND RUINS THE GAME" even though the people playing on easy do so because that is how they enjoyed the game the most.

Good man.

are X-COM Enemy Unknown and Borderlands 2 worth at that price? (I never finished Borderlands 1 and I've never played an X-COM game before)

I have not played B2 so cannot comment on that but X-EU is absabloodylutely worth the price of admission at that price. I was gifted it [by a lovely SteamGAFer, naturally] and I got 100 odd hours of really fun play out of it before I decided to cleanse my gaming palate with something else. There's a demo on Steam so if you're wondering if it's something you would enjoy you have really no excuse not to suck it and see.

well i'm not 100% sure on 2013 but generally codemasters actually strips features from F1 yearly haha. 2011 for instance let you race a season in split screen, while in 2012 all you can do in S/S is one off races. so basically roster/track updates with some visual improvements. but if you just buy the one that's a year old, generally there's mods out that make the next year's visual improvement look like dirt.

In my opinion, XCOM is not as good as the original game (which is actually called X-COM, with a hyphen), but it's still alright, especially at that price. I do consider the original X-COM one of the best games out there, mind you.

2013 has the season mode that was missing in 2012 but other than that there is almost nothing new. I got '12 very cheap and I don't think I'll be missing enough to justify paying full price for '13.

boom.

thanks for the replies, guys! I'm really considering getting it because the price's really tempting. I was hoping to see a bigger discount on Civ 5's Brave New World but I can wait, really.

Thanks. I'm still rocking the first one and feel no need to upgrade. The rosters are meaningless to me but I'd be on board for a cheap upgrade if the graphics or physics got a shot in the arm.

Was this posted fellow GAFfers?

The XCOM Collection includes:

- XCOM: Enemy Unknown + DLC:
>> XCOM: Enemy Unknown: Slingshot Pack
>> XCOM: Enemy Unknown: Elite Soldier Pack

- X-COM: Apocalypse
- X-COM: Enforcer
- X-COM: Interceptor
- X-COM: Terror from the Deep
- X-COM: UFO Defense

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ECHYTKY/?tag=neogaf0e-20

I only have XCOM: Enemy Unknown without any DLC but this seems a really good price.

Also, thanks for the giveaway doniewhalberg, good luck to all.

Arcania is terrible, I've installed and deleted it 3 times already trying to clear it from my unfinished games list.
Thanks a lot guys! From the description of the games, they don't seem to be things I'll enjoy, even if they are good.

I was going to buy the 1 dollar tier, but your description of the other games made me say "aw, fuck it", even though I already had Darksiders 2.

I hope you're happy.
