So what's the best way to get rid of this Witcher code? I figure most everyone has the game by now, either on Steam or GOG.
What few reviews I can find about it are actually highly positive. I think there's a few prejudices rearing their ugly heads over on the forums.
Oh, another release! Brand new title, this time: Democracy 3
Edit:
LLTQ reviews:

It reads vaguely like FTL, but in a Machiavellian court.
@Dr. Zoidberg: You could post it in the Free to a Good Home thread. I'm sure there are plenty of people who haven't even heard of GOG before.
Haha...it disappeared in seconds.Thanks. Will Do.
That's also the final promo you can match with our special offer that grants you a FREE copy of The Witcher: Enhanced Edition with your every purchase.
I was right on the day, apparently. Funny thing about this giveaway, the longer you've been with GOG, the more likely you've already bought all the games you'd have ever wanted, especially with all the sales and such. Grabbed PixelJunk Monsters.Missed it by one day!
Releases:
Aarklash: Legacy
Carmageddon 2: Carpocalypse now
Aarklash looks intriguing. Carmageddon is Carmageddon, but now I'm racking my brains trying to recall if I should be getting that for free from the Kickstarter or not.
Edit: Looks like nope. I'll be purchasing, then.
Surprised we didn't get an email at least notifying us that it was available. Also, I want that game from the KS right now. We should've had it by now, yes?
Another new game today:

Anyone heard of this? Claims to be a metroid-like.
How long is their new stuff usually on sale for?Today's releases: one already-out indie, and one that (I believe is) new:
The Swapper ($7.49)
Ethan: Meteor Hunter ($9.99)
How long is their new stuff usually on sale for?
Releases:
Triple Town. ($9.99, currently $5.99); it's a version with no IAP (which does make me try to remember what IAPs the game had; I only played the Android version briefly)
Rune ($9.99, currently $4.99); I remember this *very* vaguely from when it came out, but really don't recall much about it. Includes the expansion.
The inclusion of Rune did send me down another train of thought - does any DL service have Heretic 2?

Isn't Rune among some of the more questionable 'classics' to come out on GOG? I remember it being hit pretty hard by reviewers when it was released.

Ground Control 1 & 2 are great games that everyone should play. Definitely recommended by me
Also, I remember when the Dark Conspiracy expansion was released. It was free for everyone with the original Ground Control, you just had to pay for the postage. Good times indeed.
Apparently Rising Star Games is talking to GOG for a Deadly Premonition release.

Zack, we have to make this happen. But you already knew that, didn't you Zack?
A Monday release?
Aqua Kitty: Milk Mine Defender
Now, it's worth pointing out that while this is different from the norm, it probably doesn't mean that anything unusual is happening this week. Getting hyped about it would be premature and unwise.
But... this is Neogaf.
(Also 60% off Darkstone)
Hi the monday release date is all my fault - I chose it to avoid the bigger AAA titles that usually ship mid to late week. Our game is small and doesn't have masses of marketing budget like the big boys.
Maybe I'm confusing it with Wheel of Time, which came out around the same time and also used the Unreal Engine
That's the same game that was released as an XBox Live Indie game, isn't it? Quite enjoyed that one, so it's nice to see it on GOG.
Deadly Premonition confirmed for GOG.
That's not how I recall either of them at release, but maybe they got better with patches over timeJoseph Merrick said:doubt it, wheel of time was great. rune is good too.gabbo said:Maybe I'm confusing it with Wheel of Time, which came out around the same time and also used the Unreal Engine
