It's really unfortunate. I was with two friends who will be picking up Xbox Ones but haven't ever played Forza games before. They enjoyed the driving but were underwhelmed by the visuals, and I think it would have been completely different were we driving on a Prague lap, or Alps lap, or anything, really.

But seriously, RWB does some of the most incredible looking Porsches of anyone today. I would kill to see their kits in Forza.

Okay, I've orded the Limited Edition. I've dabbled in Forza, but this will be the first time I'm committing to sinking my teeth into it.

Those are photo mode shots, with the effects and models turned up to 11. You can take photos like that in the game, but the actual racing gameplay doesn't quite reach those levels. Still, with the scenery and cars rushing past you, you really don't notice.

If there is to be a deal like last time expect much of the same. For sure turn 10 can't use or drop porsches name, and probably timed out from launch.

Not sure why anyone would wait, especially when Thrustmaster is confirmed to have PC support and will supposedly work with T500 add-ons.
I wish their was a review on this thing. I'm satisfied with their fight sticks, so I'm willing to give them a chance if their Wheel would be just as impressive.

I want to say that the VIP is only available in the limited edition, but in the past they have made VIP a download you could purchase later on.
Although now that I think about it that might have just been for Forza 3. Not sure if they did it for Forza 4.

they are changing the fm forum, and all posts are now considered "old", and will not transfer to new forum. "old" will be kept about a month.
wow, lots of forza History is being deleted there...
but at least I hope they move to a better, more useable forum engine (who am i kidding)

It seems like they changed the car token system. I played all the other Forza games and can't remember a car that cost 70 .

That's a great, great shame. Can't MS use the power of the cloud to archive the old forum? All those thousands of posts form a huge chunk of the history and development of Forza Motorsport. Losing that forever would be terrible, and anyway - deleting history should never be an appropriate course of action, especially in the digital age where storage isn't even physical.
I was upset when the old Bizarre Creations forums were shut down but someone managed to archive a lot of the content before access was finally denied.

I never used tokens (ok, i did use a couple ones that i somehow won or came free with vip membership, i dunno, they were there) but i feel this is too much.
I know some rich guy will buy that car in the game for a higher price than the game itself.
