Actually got Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon. The only 3DS game of the 6 I ordered that I received. Not bad, since its the only one I was going to purchase one way or another at some point. I guess my Pokemon virginity will have to be taken some other time....

It wasn't so much a "Damn him!" as a "Damn me!" for waiting so long/seeing it too late. I had just barely missed out on the best deals. The image was a harsh reminder of what could have been.

Congrats to everyone that scored a plump, retail killing.

I actually went into a store today and picked up my order (an underwhelming Jensen bookshelf stereo I ordered for my sister-in-law as a Christmas gift). It is the only item I actually managed to receive out of a total three items spread across two orders. The other two were cancelled last week.

Anecdotally, a colleague of my wife was apparently able to pick up the same stereo from the same Walmart. It's also the only item he received, though he ordered far more things than I did on that fateful Wednesday last week.

Once the item has been delivered, signed for and entered your premises it yours..

Even if Walmart rang you there is nothing they can do, they sold it to you period.

Update 2: So my graphics card arrived today. Also a few minutes ago, Walmart sent me an email saying that they're refunding my money on the original order since it was cancelled and due to the pricing glitch.

They probably didn't realized I've already received the package..

Just contacting back regarding my Graphics Card order. My card was charged, but the package never arrived to me, as it was intercepted. Would just like some explaination on what happened, and if I'll receive my package, and if not, when will I be refunded.

ya know, sometimes you just gotta go all out. good thing i didn't get 36 monitors.. wouldn't know where to put em haha. for real though, i'm pretty sure i got the monitors due to how early i ordered them. 3-4 hours before the majority of people, to be exact.

My car stereo whose order was canceled (I even got the 10 gift card) has apparently been sitting at my local Walmart for pick up for a week. I'll see if I can actually get it tomorrow. No biggie in if I cant, I already made 600$ off that TV I got from them.

I chose ship to store and ordered a few minutes earlier than you and all of my monitor and TV orders still got cancelled. I did manage to get some games and a video game guide though so it's not a total loss.

You just got extremely lucky so kudos to you.

This is the important difference. He didn't do much get lucky as he was smart enough to choose the option that have them less time and options to stop them.

Personally, I think there was no "real" way to getting your items. I got my video game guides and I did the free shipping option. And there have been reports here that people received their ship to home orders when they did the free shipping option while the orders that were placed using 2-Day shipping were canceled.

So I contacted UPS after my last packages (books) didn't arrive. The tracking numbers weren't in their system, at all. They literally don't exist.

The order is still marked as shipped on Walmart, and I never got refunded.

I emailed Walmart support asking how my packages could have tacking numbers that don't exist, and where my packages were. They quickly responded with am apology and are escalating the issue to find out what the hell happened.

I emailed Walmart support again after 2 weeks had passed, basically laying out my displeasure that they've held onto my money for a month, promised an answer that never materialized, and shipped a package with tracking codes that UPS says never existed in their system.

They finally got back to me and are re-sending the order. One item was canceled because of stock issues, but the rest are shipping and will arrive sometime this week.

The great missing order saga is finally coming to a close.

Not bad. I'm surprised that they're resending it to you. Very good to hear.

Has anyone tried returning the stuff they got to their local store saying it was a gift with no receipt?

I know that their policy is that they have to offer you the lowest price the item was in the last 90 days (as gift cards I assume), but I'm wondering if the system will correlate the UPC code with how much was actually paid.

I am too. I would've been disappointed after all this time to have it finally canceled, but not terribly upset beyond them holding on to my money for so long. But I won't argue if they want to make good on it, at this point, that's their choice.

UPC codes are not unique, they are the same on every box of the same product. Their policy will allow it but it is technically fraud if that matters.

So my 55" Samsung ended up being free. I paid via paypal and did in store pickup. Walmart then tried to cancel the order and Paypal got the cancellation. Then it sat in limbo for the last 30 days, and Paypal has now released the funds to me since Walmart didn't respond with enough information.

What a deal.
