Just saw that. TBH I really wasn't expecting anything other than sales figures etc. I would be pleasantly surprised if it's anything more.

I think something like Sony's rumoured TV over IP service (for PS4 etc) would be more likely than something very game-y (like VR).

Best case (realistic) scenario: A well developed Occulus Rift kind of thing for the PS4, good pricing, works well, will be supported by many publishers. Maybe some further news about Gaikai?

Yuuuuup, just like i thought; the live event viewer app was right. All the people going "it's about to start!" are the ones at the convention and they're being let in or whatever. Adam Boyes just tweeted "it's starting!" but nope, shit hasn't started :)

Well supposedly Sony has already been showing off that HMZ-T3Q headet which looks like a HMD with head tracking.

Are we still expecting something different, like a true VR headset now?

Yes, an Occulus Rift type device from Sony has been rumored for months now.
