Do they take the objectives? If so, that's awesome. Then they will really push combat and control the flow of the games as Respawn implied they would.

I think the points you get from killing them go towards your bank for calling in titans.
That much i got from the previous leaks in the thread, but what do you unlock? Perks/guns I'm assuming? What about titans?

Not sure. Player controlled pilots are way faster and generally get to the points first. Haven't noticed A.I. successfully take a point. They have tried though..
In the video the titans looked to be on a spawan timer. When the match started it was counting down from 60 seconds. It might change after the first time you call one in.
It sounds like the game was largely designed around them, and from impressions, it sounds like a brilliant idea. But I wouldn't be surprised if there are some stripped down deathmatch or Titan vs Titan modes.

Yeah. You can create custom Titan load outs as well. They only have one Titan body type in the Alpha but you can attach different guns and abilities to it
That much we know, each kill lowers the timer.

Ok, so the AI are like creeps and the Titan Cores are double damage runes. I like where this is going.
I remember getting a sense of that in the footage released near to the reveal.
Like you dip into single-player for a moment, execute the AI stylishly, then move onto the next major combat scenario with another Pilot or Titan.
I meant in terms of unlocks, like if you have to unlock the other titan types/weapons etc.
I wonder if you unlock more guns in the progression system, we haven't seen many and i haven't heard of any through the unlock system, which is what I'm curious about.
Its alpha etc. i know, but if you can hit level 10 you must be unlocking something, unless they disabled unlocks for the test or max level is like over 100 and the unlocks are super spread out.
Maybe not a decade to me, since CoD4 has only been 6 years. But 6 years feels forever in gaming time.

Ya since the game is designed around them it would be cool if respawn could change the ai skill level on the fly using the cloud.

Wow they ran that series into the ground in only six years? Hah feels like so much longer.
I've heard the exact opposite from others. Will wait for reviews and better impressions of the final product.
When you have like 3-4 different developers getting their hands all over it, it's not a surprise the most recent CoD games feel like absolute messes.
Look what Respawn is pulling off with less than 100 people, and what they did with CoD4 by themselves.

I am surprised that one of the reasons they had a beef with Acti was they didn't want to continue making COd. So they get fired, start a new studio and make another COD lol
I will say that it plays better and smoother than other beta's and the game seems well made.
But it is COD at its core, pure and simple
People can go ahead and hype it like they did with MW2 and BF3 or even Homefront lol.
But it's EA's Call of Duty, and nothing more
Yeah, I remember when Homefront won 60 awards at E3.

It's an arena shooter. That's about all it has in common with COD gameplay wise.
It doesn't feel like COD when you play it, feels like something completely distinct and awesome.
Well if it's a return to form of the older COD, mainly MW 1 and 2, can't say I have a problem with that.

Pilot Cloaking has been confirmed to be in the game since the E3 Reveal Trailer.
All Ive seen is its the next evolutionary step of cod. Theres the moba grinding element, theres now more mobility, killstreaks have been cleaned up to being a customizable thing (your mech). Its the next evolutionary step. Its not something completely new. Which is good. Not everything has to be different for the sake of being different.
Its a perk ability.
