Normally I agree with you -- there's no reason to pre-order in a lot of cases. Unless you plan on picking the game up day 1 in the first place or there's some other incentive that makes it worth your while.

I kickstarted a couple of games myself, but I wouldn't get upset if it went wrong.

I also Kickstarted Skullgirls, and I'm pretty happy with that. At least you have good taste.

Why do you need an Arkham Asylum key?

Because I don't have it (the vanilla version, that is). While GFWL keys were originally set to activate the original version of Asylum (and City) in addition to the GOTY re-release, the key redemption issues gave enough time for WB to change its mind and pull the the former from the subs.

I really hope it's good. It's ridiculous actually, I like the franchise, I like the developer and I like the gameplay. But I'm still cautious.

If it has the best South Park humor, then I'm sure the writing is going to be funny as hell. If it's more like the weakest seasons (13 and 15; stopped watching the show midway through the latter), then I'll be disappointed. With any luck the game will make fun of itself, a la "Guitar Queer-O" or "Make Love, Not Warcraft" episodes.

I still need to give Sticker Star a try one day. I'm a bit wary because of the negative feedback it's been getting since release but I really like the series as well. One day.

Yeah I know, I've heard the same. But I'm not worried, because many people said the same about Super Paper Mario and it ended up being my favorite Wii game, and the one that introduced me to the franchise (had tried the first 15 minutes of the original a long time ago and disliked it). So I still believe I'm gonna like it.

Didn't Hitman: Absolution sell a couple million copies shortly after its release? Unfortunately we can't really say people weren't eager to gobble it up...

I mean: it did "fail" by performing inadequately relative to its sale projections, but only because Square-Enix' expectations were insanely high to begin with. A mistake they were happy to repeat with Tomb Raider as well, strangely enough.

Pretty sure that was shipped copies. They completely left it off a couple of sales reports after it came out and like I said the game was heavily discounted almost immediately after release. They were practically giving the game away and it still couldn't make any charts.

Thanks for septerra. Key still works.

Can also speak from experience that if you try to activate a game that is region-locked where you are, you can still VPN activate it even if steam says the sale is invalidated.
