We will likely get a release date at E3. Given the game has been running behind schedule, it's probably a 50-50 proposition it ships in 2014. 2015 is real possibility.

inFamous was never a launch title, always launch window which is exactly when it's coming out.

What? I only know how the game plays based off of interviews with the development team. A few days after Sony's E3 conference I watched an interview with Ru Weerasuriya, where he confirmed that the game was a cinematic shooter, and I breathed a huge sigh of relief as a result.

Not sure, but we'll have a video preview ready for the embargo lift. Picked-up a new, full HD video camera for interviews etc as well.

Again, you are missing the point. Everybody's gone to rapture was not a schedule slip (based on what we know so far). There was no indication of it. They just finished the first draft of the script. The reason you are assuming there is a schedule slip is because you want to work with the arbitrary 12-15 month window that you have defined. I'm not suggesting that you are painting a negative picture. I'm suggesting that your logic is flawed, because your premise itself is pure speculation.

Basically any preview you've read for a game was likely under embargo. They do that in order for the press to write the best preview or make the best video preview possible. Instead of just having a bunch of people scrambling to have the first preview.

Nah Demon said the date would be in the next trailer. And he works for Sony. Since the embargo is two weeks away I'm pretty sure we will get a new trailer alongside the previews.

Kinda Sony's fault for not announcing anything else. People expect The Order to be Sony's biggest game this year now if Uncharted doesn't make it. So this obviously creates big expectations. Hopefully RAD can meet them.

I love the aesthetics of this game and its graphics, but I know in the end its gonna be just another cinematic TPS with the same gameplay as Gears.
I guess we cant expect fresh gameplay innovations from AAAs anymore.

That's one day after Game of Thrones comes out on blu-ray. Think I will have other things on my mind. Good to know we will get some gameplay info soon though.

We've already heard from an insider that the gameplay demo for "The Order" shown off brought out reactions on the level of the 2009 UC2 E3 Demo

So they most likely will be able to deliver an October/November system seller. (If marketed as such)

You say that like it's a bad thing. If that's how you guys view it then I guess Titanfall is just another FPS, inFamous is just another open world game, Witcher 3 is just another WRPG. What kind of insane logic is that?

Having never played it, you know nothing of the sort. Not like that would be a bad thing even if it was... RAD are competent, who knows it could play more like a slow burner such as Dead Space.

Such great style. I am hoping the characters become popular enough to get some name recognition. They seem to have a lot of personality, and distinction from most others.

Stupendously good and ahead of it's time. Even to this day Uncharted 2 stands tall. ND are simply an unbelievable development studio.
