It does soften the blow a little but to me makes it an even more no brainer to include with the Switch as this could be the perfect game to appeal to the casuals. I can't see many spending an additional $50 for it.

1€ per minigame would be alright. Choose the price or the amount of content according to that and I would consider it for sure.

It appears to be at least 24. I wrote a post about this on the NintendoSwitch subreddit, but there's 8 known games as you see here:

And then there's another 16 games that are different as seen here:

I want to know what the final number is.

Kinda surprised this game isn't a Warioware.

Wouldn't be surprised if it started as one and is made by the same team.

$50 is still a lot.

I hope they push out a demo to download to at least give people a taste of what this game is like. That would go a long way of selling people on the game that might be on the fence due to the price. Especially if the games work as well as people have been saying.

Copy Dance, imaginary PingPong, and Air Guitar look to be the dumbest.

I honestly don't understand imaginary PingPong. Wii Sports was famous for its Wii Tennis. Wii Sports Resort went even further with Table Tennis that was fun and more competitive. Now we have invisible table tennis. I don't get it.

The whole package just looks so disposable to me. Like, I get the novelty of some of these minigames, but I don't think that they'll have any lasting appeal. Why would you want to play these over and over? This is no Wii Sports.

Yeah I don't get how its meant to work. Are we meant to guess where the ball is supposed to be?

Think of it as a 2-player competitive Rhythm Heaven minigame.

Okay this is much, much better. Honestly I'll happily pay $50 for 24 of these minigames that I can bring up anywhere with fam and friends. They are dumb as hell but they are active and A LOT of my family members would immediately stop caring if I put a 'normal' multiplayer game in front of them i.e. them having to match what's on screen with button input

E: I know lots here have been ragging on it cause there is nothing on screen, but I think there are a handful of more casual gamers or ppl not interested in video games at all in my life that would be less dismissive of this because it's simple physical interaction. That's all I'm trying to say

What does a meeting look like over at Nintendo.

"Ok, so the Milking mini game is done for 1, 2, Switch. Just 15 more mini games and it's ready to launch. Any other orders of business to discuss? What? A new 2D Metroid? We don't have the resources for that right now. Plus, what if it didn't sell........"

I'm hosting a big "get drunk and play party games" party the week after release so I guess I'm buying this. Good to see there's at least a decent variety of games.

It doesn't matter what the actual baby game will be, this is all I'm gonna do

loljk I'm not gonna buy this thing since it's 50 freaking dollars. This should of been built in/packed in, and or if it was separate the MAX should of been like 10 bucks. They probably spent more money filming the videos than working on the game.

It should of been a Warioware game anyway

Are you? Even they aren't this bad. Not sure how that can surprise anyone at all.

1000 dollars for all? Hmm. Makes no sense.

With how they priced the system and its accessories, it's surely a big surprise this game is just 50€ and not more.

I've been super disappointed it isn't.

I guess it's similar in that it's a minigame compilation with quirky humor, but the structure and mechanics are completely different from the (good) WarioWare games

I suppose it is vaguely more similar to Game & Wario (though still superficially so), but the last thing WW needs is a Game & Wario 2.

I need waaaaaaaaaay more than 20 minigames that are fun one time and unplayable without another human being if I'm gonna spend $50 on this.

If this game had the warioware formula where it was switching beteeen mini games and had a ton of fun and small activities, I can see it being very fun.

"Upon its initial trailer, several commentators have compared the game to the WarioWare series. After playing the demo, Ben Skipper of International Business Times felt overwhelmed by the game's innuendos." -Wikipedia article

They better charge a dollar per innuendo.
