Roddick will repeatedly respond to Nadal's dogged tenacity by spraying errors all over the place.

This match will be over in 3.

Here's how I knew Roddick would lose this match.

He's worse than Federer on a bad day, so he's definitely worse than Nadal on any day.

I'm turning this match off. It's actually making me uncomfortable to see Roddick get beaten like this after Isner made it so close with Murray.

Someone tell me if Roddick even gets a break point.

Roddick won't lose this in three sets. But if he does he might as well retire...

He will, then he won't. He'll just spend 2012 blaming everyone but himself on the fact that he sucks now.

Oh, and I wanted to mention this yesterday but I got sidetracked.

Am I the only person who thinks Tipsarevic, despite his talent, retires a lot from matches?

I kinda agree. I was just saying to someone that I feel that it's rare to see Tipsarevic lose while playing his best tennis. Not in a Serena/Novac "if s/he's playing his best nobody can beat him" kinda way. But when he loses it's always something...

EDIT: It's kinda sweet that you can literally see the shade creeping across the court...

1) Someone has to invent anti sweat shorts for Nadal.

2) Nadal makes some amazing shots look like its part of his regular bag of tricks.

If this carries on throughout the match Nadal probably won't even feel as if it was any more intense than a practice session

Roddick is playing very impatiently. It's like he's not giving himself enough to properly reset and plan his point...

Was hoping Roddick would at least make Nadal work hard to give me some false hope for Murray tmrw. I now have no hope whatsoever. Maybe it's better that way.

Tennis should be sexier...i miss the sleeveless shirts of a few years ago. Oh well, as a leg man im well satiated anyway... Ferrer has some nice wide calves...Nadal, roddick and Murray are nicely defined too

Ugh the commentators are annoying me. Coming up with every excuse in the book for Roddick...

Andy is playing in the same conditions that everyone else had to play. Isner had a much more challenging match and still found some energy (albeit too late).

Andy is losing because his quality of play has permanently dipped. He had a taste of greatness in 2003, got distracted by all the celeb/model tail being thrown at him and hasn't had his head in the game since.

He isn't even phasing Nadal. Retire.

i'm just so disappointed as an American.. how much longer am i going to have to wait for someone relevant to represent us?

Isner made us proud today. Mardy Fish got taken out in 5 well played sets by Tsonga, who's beaten Federer. Serena will win.

Roddick is the one who sucks. Don't blame the other Americans.
