It's used to take notes on the games they play. What sets their opponent is running, etc. Having that information on hand is helpful.

It works with the intimidate of his teammates and bulky defenses along with follow me to annoy. Plus when gothitelle switches in with shadow tag the other teams Pokemon can't switch out.

It's pretty interesting, not sure it will work now that it's been hyped so much but we will see!
