Strange to have two different decisions

(although it's hard, after seeing the images again, I feel like it could be the canadian that hit the japanese and not the other way aound...)

that was my impression as well from seeing it live. havent seen any replays though

germany now holding up a bit better since heinevetter went into goal. still gonna be a hard time..
i think france is going to take this.

I mean Dunfee would have lost that place anyway. He was on the brink of collapse like two times at the end there.

germany not on top of their game.... france is going to go ahead..
They're not playing badly, but France is rock-solid, as it has often been in the past 15 years. Especially Omeyer, who's doing a great match again (and just scored a goal, not usual for a goalkeeper ^_^)

Goalkeeper goals are quite common now with new rules that team can pull out a goalkeeper and replace him with another player when attacking.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

you said that actuall skaters dont look at contests as a barometer on who is the best skater.

so im asking what all these xgames in the nineties were about then?
it were contests, and there was a winner at the end, or not?

so what is different now and then?

Japan counter-appealed on the 50 km racewalk and won, so Canada's back down to 20 medals. Ah well, we'll see if Dunfee can do better next time.
