Awesome, do physical games do installs? Or are they just for saves/digital downloads/updates?

Ordered a white console. I have been debating back and forth between black and white, but I haven't owned a white portable since my original phat DS (Although that was silver) and am looking for a change.

This almost felt too easy and/or lucky... JUST SO happened to randomly refresh the Amazon page 20 min ago (wasn't even refreshing this thread at the time!), which JUST SO happened to have the preorder button up that JUST SO happened to be like 5 minutes old at the time, and which JUST SO happened to be at an unexpected time of the evening that might catch the crowds off guard.
I think that last part is the biggest. If this was any seller other than Amazon I'd suspect some airline-overbooking type shenanigans, given the allegedly ultra-low stock B&M will have.

um... holy shit. amazon gave me $120 credit for my animal crossing edition n3DS and the black one i bought was $99.... so I just made money to switch to the black version. thanks amazon!

Is it possible to mess with homebrew stuff on the newest New 3DS firmware? Since I don't really want to transfer my 3DS XL contents to it, feels like an opportunity.
I still gotta go out and find other stuff, but this saved me a giant headache.

They usually give you store credit or a giftcard for mistakes like this so it's low risk to put your preorder in anyway.

Allegedly (based on some reddit posts that got their hands on this bundle early) it comes with a firmware that's exploitable. I don't know enough about 3DS homebrew to give any more detail, though.

I went with a white one because I think those colorful buttons stand out a lot better on white.
