$99 New 3DS Black Friday Deal

Or the smaller form factor and the black that has never been released in the U.S., coinciding with Pokemon Sun and Moon's release, coinciding with an $80 discount.

Yes to all of this. And Virtual Console & the 3DS's extensive library. There are a LOT of Nintendo games I'd like to play for the first time.

I went for the free shipping 5-8 days.

Amazon says it won't ship till 11/29. and won't arrive till 12/1-12/5.

lol what the hell?? tempted to change my order to 2 day shipping.

no I don't have prime.

As a prime user with two day shipping - it won't arrive for me until the 29th.

Can't you switch the shipping for free since you obviously spent above the dollar minimum for the free two-day?

Right, so Black Friday is really Wednesday?

Black Friday "sales" have moved up to now include the week of Fhanksgiving. Retailers realized that people have been doing more online shopping to avoid lineups, so now the mid to small items are sold throughout the week including Black Friday, while the TV's, laptops, and some appliances are Door crashes in person.

It's very simple. Black Friday used to be on Friday starting in the wee hours of the morning. It took real fortitude to make yourself get up at 1-2 a.m., in the cold, to go wait in line for 3 hours for the store to open. Then online started being a major player and some stuff started being available that way in reasonable quantities in 2006/7, and then 2008 crash happened. Come 2009 after looking at 2008, companies realized that people didn't really have much money to spend on Christmas stuff anymore. In fact, people had a finite budget for Christmas spending and once it was gone, it was gone. Therefore, companies (i.e. Toys R Us) started inching earlier and earlier in order to get at that money before it was gone, until they (i.e. TRU) finally crossed into Thanksgiving. That opened the floodgates. Now, we got online being a major, major player (Wednesday) and stores are opening Black Friday shopping shortly after lunch on Thanksgiving. First time I finished my Black Friday shopping on Thursday night a few years ago, it threw me for a loop. Now, I kind of resent having to go out Friday morning for something.

Really hope this isn't a repeat of the NES Classic and that their will be plenty available on Friday. I've been waiting for the new 3ds black version for so long and it would stink if it's super limited.

nah, they are still going to charge me 7 bucks for 2 day and 10 for 1 day.

2 day shipping says 11.29. I am not in a huge rush. long as I get it before Christmas.

Been lurking this thread hoping to snag one of these. Shame I missed what sounds like was the opening of these things. Going to try and grab one online if possible.

Sorry, a bit tipsy after a World Wide Stout and a wootstout. Amazon removed the option for me to change shipping speed. I assume that is because it has entered the boxing process.

Cheers bro. New Belgium recently brought back its "Accumulation" white IPA and I've been enjoying that very much. One of the few New Belgium beers I love. Sipping, working, refreshing...

I miss the 3am huddling outisde for warmth with the squad and setting up the battle plan. But now that I'm working retail I'm pretty glad it's all over and I get to go home around 2 instead

Love the avatar, too. Arrogant Bastard is one of the first high-grav beers I ever enjoyed, years ago. And I felt like such a badass drinking a bomber; like a real man's man. I was such a dope back then. I need to get a hold of some Enjoy By

Also... I'm wondering if I should even mess with all of this refreshing and stressing out. My wife offered to get up and be at our local GameStop before 5am on Friday in order to get me the black N3DS, but in exchange I have to let her put a manicure / pedicure into the budget next month. Hmm... Is laying in bed and waking up to a N3DS worth an extra $75?

3 am hype , lets goooooooo

I have $800 in trade in credit from trading in retro systems and games this past week, im ready :P

Yo
That's a large amount of credit

My Uncle was hoping to get a NewXL on sale, but since that's not happening he was looking at this instead. Not sure if I should tell him the stock issue tomorrow at Dinner or not... Maybe he'll get lucky at a store. I don't want to crush all hopes.

I'm on the west coast so they're open for another hour.

How would I go about doing the system transfer if I don't have my old 3ds on hand when I get the n3DS?
If you have homebrew installed you can back up all your game saves and Nintendo could do a license transfer over the phone if you can prove you're the owner of the nnid by knowing a few of the recent purchases.
If you don't have homebrew installed I don't think there's anything you can do about your saves.

Definite Win/Win. Laying in bed and a happy wife. Worth the money IMO

Perhaps this isn't the right thread for this, but with the 3ds coming (I've been surviving playing old DSI games this whole time), any lists/game suggestions to start a 3ds collection with?

Oh huh, my saves are stored on the console and not my SD card? I have a microSD with a SD adapter in my 3DS right now, I can't just move that over?

And this is true for my physical games, too, that my saves are lost?

I am drinking a michelob golden draft light doing my own "refreshing" (hilarious). I don't think I can sit at the cool table with these fancy brews being flaunted but I can still cheers.

Hope I can snag Skyrim PS4 along with a n3ds for my brother at BestBuy.com.

$75 for a Mani/Pedi? Where the heck do you live? My wife pays no more than $50, and even then that's usually with some add-ons like jewels and stuff.
