$99 New 3DS Black Friday Deal

Guys I'm stuck... I was refreshing after it sold out and about three or four minutes after it had been sold out it showed up available to pre-order again. When I clicked pre-order it said it was out of stock. Kept refreshing for about another minute, and then it showed up to pre-order again. Out of stock.

Now I can't stop refreshing because I know the moment I do they'll go back online. Someone help, I have work to do tonight.
 
Took a nap and wake up to find Amazon already sold their allotment. Kinda pissed about that, actually. Wasn't it supposed to go up on the 24th?
 
Anybody have any experience making custom faceplates? I want to make something like this:

Right now I'm think 3D printed faceplates with decals over top, but I'm looking for a better solution. I found someone on etsy who makes custom ones but they said the sides don't get printed on and remain white.
 
Fuck's sake, looks like Amazon started selling them the minute I went to sleep... I thought they'd start at 12am so I put up the alarm about an hour before :(
 
So Black Friday starts at 8pm on Wednesday according to Amazon. This sucks. I know a lot of people who want one & would rather not fight someone for it in stores on Thanksgiving of all days.
 
I know I want this thing, but my N3DS XL experience was a nightmare with screen problems. Dead pixels, and despite multiple repairs, I still have a ugly pixel that is always bright in dark scenes. IPS top / TN bottom, and some of the repairs had uneven colors.

I don't think my experience was normal, but I doubt my heart couldn't take doing it again for a sidegrade.

But the smaller size seems fantastic and I'm just refreshing the best buy page for fun. That's all. Yup.
 
I'm going to take a 1.5 hour nap and pray that nothing wild happens like best buy going "el o fucking el here you guys you can pre-order early!!"

Sorry for the salt guys I also wanted to make this a present for a dear friend, but I'm glad y'all managed to snag one when you did!

Are you sure they won't accept without the game code? packed in codes are usually used when things are traded in to amazon. That's why they say "Bonus downloadable content may have already been redeemed" when you buy used from them. I'm just curious what made you realize this after you submitted the trade in because I am considering doing the same and have also used the code already but have everything else.
 
Wow, I just happened to see the preorder page after getting back from the gym and figured it was a mistake, went ahead and ordered and now I have an arrival date for the order.

Woo!

For the smaller size, etc. & because that the regular sized New 3DS's are so rare to find in the US. Plus the $99 price tag.

The only other way to get that smaller size here in the US is through the "New Nintendo 3DS Super Mario 3D Land Edition" bundle, & that's $178 on Amazon.
 
I still plan on heading to target tomorrow at 6 pm to grab one. If I realllllly wanted one I'd go early and wait, but I think at my store I'll be ok.
 
So, are online retailers doing midnight East Coast tonight?

Fucking companies pushing BF into Thanksgiving. I have to trade off focusing on family versus focusing on getting family their gifts.
