$99 New 3DS Black Friday Deal

Didn't realize Amazon was even going to do pre-orders.

Guess I'll just stick with my OG 3DS because I'm not going out there in the cold just to get one of these.
 
they better not cancel because here's what my stupid ass did:

did a trade in for my animal crossing n3DS and got $120 gift card.

Then realized that it requires the game as well, which I can't include because it was a used digital code, so amazon would probably reject it and send it back to me. So I cancelled thinking they'd just take the gift card back. NOPE. Just get charged for the gift card and get $120 on my account. Oh well. I order the black n3DS with it. Now if they cancel it, I'll be stuck with $120 on amazon from my own stupidity.

sigh.

man :( mine are still just on "we've got your order." Maybe it has to do with where I live? I ordered the second it went up.

edit - hmmm wait a minute, it might be because i selected 1 day shipping. that's probably why! mine say they'll arrive on monday.

I am still determined but I am legitimately upset right now =(

I've been aware about Toys R Us for a while not but if worst comes to worst I'm worried that Best But and Wal-Mart will not go through with my order.
 
This is the kind of thing that makes you wonder if somewhere along the chain Amazon is working with a syndicate of scalpers... Sigh. Please forgive my melodrama for a few posts.
 
Can't decide if I want to keep my preorder. I really hope this Pikachu version comes to the US. How soon do I need to cancel my order before it ships? Did the free shipping service.

My first status was "pre-order" and an email saying my order was in. It'll probably take a little while to update for everyone. I'm hoping this means that the deal is going to go through.
 
My guess is that Amazon actually fulfills these orders. They didn't put them up on thursday or friday and instead today because they just dont give an F. Which seems par for the course for them these days lol.
 
Mother fucker! I fucking hate Nintendo and Amazon this holiday season. The only 2 things I've wanted from the 2 of them (NES Classic and this) and they have screwed them both up.
 
I got really lucky in getting my order in. I was not at all expecting Amazon to allow preorders on these. Really sucks for people that were planning on attempting to make an order at midnight only to now see that they're already sold out :(
 
If you search through amazon for 3ds consoles and use the categories on the left. 1 console under coming soon category. And it's the white one. I WANNA BELIEVE
 
I ordered a white and black one roughly 15 minutes after vypek posted, both are still at the "we've got your order" phase with a confirmation email. Will post when I see a change.

If it helps, it only changed when the pending charge showed up on my card.
 
I just want to thank everyone in this thread. I was able to preorder fine. Finally the black N3DS shall be mine. Can't wait to rock the Zelda cover plates.
 
I was thinking about this while kegging some beer.

Amazon technically does not have any ads with the new 3ds listed, so they wouldn't need to cancel orders to ensure a basic amount of stock for flash deal later this week. I think this could mean that they honor these orders.

I did the same exact thing but i chatted with a rep. They refused to take back the credit and told me to dispute it with my bank.
 
Does anyone have any links for some good deals on cover plates? The ones I am seeing on Amazon are $25 and I don't think I want to spend that much just yet.
