Let's see there's about 13 million Wii U's so naturally 13 million copies got sold.yeah just saw this...I don't know what's going on
Speaking of cancellations, I snagged a SE on ebay for a BIN of $120. But seller of course cancelled my order because someone apparently offered them more for it. Gah I'm heated. Thet are a new seller too. Thought I would give them a chance.
Woops.
That's happen frequently to me and always end up getting the title on time.
I want to say don't panic, but the Wii U version looks to be sold out as well so who knows what's going on
And now I got an email about the Wii U version no longer having a release date. What is going on at Amazon with this game?
"The item(s) you ordered is not yet released. We will notify you of a specific delivery date when one is available."

My logic is sound. Take that Mario Kart 8
Where?
A local store here (Colombia) I thought they we're sold out, but they have a few units
Some Columbian dudes are gonna make a tidy little profit on ebay.
So are we safe if we hadn't received any cancellation email by now?

Not even Nintendo is stupid enough to piss off the world's largest publisher just to "get back" at them for some lost units, come on lol. Amazon could delist every Nintendo product ever and it would do nothing to their bottom line. Was Amazon the source of the leaked/stolen Switches and is this Nintendo's petty way of getting "retribution"?
I know the relationship between Amazon and Nintendo has always been on shaky ground.

There's nothing much they can do. They can't materialize a limited item out of thin air.
So was it ever explained why this happened (though I'm sure most of us know why) & how they chose whose orders to cancel?
Probably should've worded that better & said we "can assume why" on account that there's a good chance Nintendo wouldn't fulfill all the orders Amazon had, so Amazon had to cancel orders until it met the number of MEs that Nintendo sent them.We do?
YesMy master edition says "preparing for shipment".
Am I safe now?
My special edition on Amazon is "Shipping now"Special edition Amazon order has "We need a little more time to provide you with a good estimate." on my order still. Customer service not forthcoming. Kind of annoying I might end up with the system and nothing to play on it if they don't get their act together.
For those who get the Special &/or Limited, can you compare the game box to the regular edition? Walmart seems to be fulfilling my order on the Special Edition (still in "processing"), but I wasn't able to cancel the order for just the game from Best Buy, but I might open BB's copy & play that, then mail the copy of the game included in the Special Edition, but I want to ensure the game boxes are the same.
Does that apply to the US version & the ESRB rating? Based on the Special/Master Edition pics, it seems to be the same box, but I can't help but wonder if the ones included with the LEs will have something like "not for resale" on the back underneath the bar code. The game box doesn't have a pegi rating

Wow that all looks incredibly cheap and the packaging is also very shoddy.
Very disappointing.
