It's slow, very difficult to interact with, and mars the overall browsing experience. Sites that used to load in a snap now lag behind because they're loading Flash content. Scrolling on a page with Flash content is also painfully choppy. Even when video does play, it seems like it's around 10-15 fps.
I uninstalled Flash for now. It is not ready for prime time, not even close.
Is this the best that Adobe can do? Haven't they been working on Flash mobile forever?

Didn't they update it a tiny bit? Like change the look slightly? I thought maybe they might have thrown some behind the scene stuff like gapless playback in there.pxleyes said:There is no new music player yet.

I don't know, but some crafty developer finally put out a music player with gapless playback, it's called museek.Blu_LED said:Nexus One people, does the "new" music player have gapless playback?
technically the tmobile update isn't out yet either, it was just out to press and review phones. I wouldn't expect it any earlier then next weekDrozmight said:No sighting for the N1 AT&T upgrade yet?
Gaw! I keep checking the update screen too.
Wow this thing is amazing. Finally, gapless playback on Android. Long overdue. I can finally use this thing as a music player.thewesker said:I don't know, but some crafty developer finally put out a music player with gapless playback, it's called museek.

Looks pretty neat too.
EDIT: just tested and works great, and completely configurable to your liking as well.
Instead of checking off, i just hit the play button above the list, seemed to work fine.Blu_LED said:Wow this thing is amazing. Finally, gapless playback on Android. Long overdue. I can finally use this thing as a music player.
The only thing I don't like about the app is that I have to check every song off before I can play them. Is there any way to just play them?

I used to use Weather Widget.Baker said:What's the best big clock/weather widget for Droid? I've been through over half this thread and haven't seen much talk about them. I'm using Fancy Widget right now because it's free, but it's not very fancy.
I do appreciate the launcherpro beta suggestions though. That thing is pure awesome. SportsTap was also a good replacement when Scoreboard decided to 100% stop doing anything last weekend.

Now I have another problem. It won't go onto the next song. Every time a song ends it pauses, and sits there. What's going on?thewesker said:Instead of checking off, i just hit the play button above the list, seemed to work fine.
I prefer not to use the screen space for that, I like the option the Weather Channel app gives you, where you can have the temp. listed on the status bar, and when you pull down the notification panel, it displays additional info about the current weather (sunny, cloudy, etc.) plus any severe weather warnings.Baker said:What's the best big clock/weather widget for Droid? Pixel Zombies Live Wallpaper
(can't find it on Appbrain, so here's an alt)
http://www.cyrket.com/p/android/haydenTheAndroid.liveWallpaper.pixelZombies/
It's a pretty crazy live wallpaper.
Green = people
Red = zombies
Blue = zombie hunters
You watch the blue take down the reds, but reds can turn green/blues into zombies and multiply.
Dropping an app onto the screen releases a nuke.

SMS Backup and Restore works great for me. You can even set scheduled backups of texts. It successfully saved the 4,000k+ texts I have on my phone as I was messing around with rooting and installing custom roms.gimmmick said:What's a good sms back up app on the market?
