I'm not getting 3D buildings in LA. How do I activate that?
womp said:You sometimes have to read between the lines. Most likely this refers to uploading your name with a high score to a server and it is just the default wording by Google. Most of the time the apps will specifically ask if you wish to do so. Ninja Jump is by the dev behind Paper Toss BTW, they've been around for a while.
The alerts about what the apps access before you download and install I have found to be pretty broad across the board, it is just a matter of interpreting them.

I'm looking to buy Beautiful widgets but when I go to purchase it, it shows the amount being in Euros and that it will approximately cost 1.97 USD.
Any there any hidden fees to this if the app currency is overseas?
teiresias said:Only if there are any imposed by your bank or credit card company. I think I get charged some small fee for "currency conversion" or something (it's in the cents) by my bank when I purchase something in foreign currency.
Fuck yeah! Thanks.Calamachino said:New app to share. It's new to me, so hopefully its new to you too.![]()

Great comic store and reader. Love the animations when switching pages. Real smooth. Just been checking out the free comics so far, and reading the first issue of The Walking Dead for free is reason enough to download.![]()
EDIT: Ops.
Really nice with great progression transitionsCalamachino said:New app to share. It's new to me, so hopefully its new to you too.![]()

Get Google Maps for mobile 5.0 by searching for Google Maps in Android Market (or tap on this link if youre on your phone). Android 1.6+ devices can get Maps 5.0, but 3D and offline features require Android 2.0+, and some features may not be supported for all devices or countries.
Jamesfrom818 said:The Desire has the same fucked up touch screen as the N1. Its part of the reason I upgraded to a G2.
Amazing, just used it to start the Walking Deadjonnybryce said:Dqamn, Comics is awesome. There's enough random Batman, Joker and other free stuff to be entertained for a little whille. A nice sample comic is Mirror's Edge #1, its basically the intro to the game but not written as well. In any case it looks really good and the transitions are cool.
Going to investigate some more. I might be throwing a lot of money into this app. Its very polished, very Android and very easy to read.
SimleuqiR said:It looks like your device might not support the features? Maybe it's a hardware limitation issue?
ScOULaris said:That's what I am trying to find out. I can't find any documentation on the Aria's compatibility with the new features anywhere, but it wouldn't make sense for the freaking vector rendering not to work. Isn't that supposed to be the MAIN change from the update that should work across all phones?
And I'm running 2.1, so my OS version makes the grade.

You shouldn't lose your data on the SD card. You'll lose things (like program data) on your phone's internal memory, though.JohnTinker said:This is probably a very stupid question, but will I lose my photos/videos/downloads when I flash and install a new ROM on my Vibrant?
That's weird, my phone stores my photos on the SD card.JohnTinker said:Pretty much all of the photos are stored in the phone's internal memory though
