Any bigger marketing lies than hoverboards or fast food "ghost pepper" items?

Cartridge based razors.

They are worse than the old safety razor, yet cost a ridiculous amount.

Budweiser calling itself "America" when it's owned by a European company.

Not so much a "lie" as they are a ripoff.

I don't give a FUCK if there's barely any actual ghost pepper.

That burger is the best goddamit burger Wendy's ever has and I look forward to it coming on the menu every summer.

Whenever the promotion ends I cry like a little bitch.

Don't you dare talk smack about that burger!!!!!!!!

White Bread (Wonder Bread)

Kale (Terrible vegetable to cook.)

Environment (No one cares.)

Mouthwash

Adult toilet wipes

Flushable wipes

Fruit Juice including "fresh" Orange Juice (extremely processed + loaded with sugar)

Fruit Snacks (euphemism for candy)

Organic (Is inefficient farming better for the environment + "more nutritious"?)

Cartridge razors/plastic disposable razors (Consider straight/safety razors.)

Healthy Frozen Dinners (loaded with salt)

High-octane gas for non-luxury vehicles

i dont get it? its margarine.

Margarine is worse than butter in terms of health due to trans fat.

Any "ghost pepper" branding you see is AT BEST Habanero but is probably just Jalapeno or even "random slightly hot pepper".

Ghost Pepper has a very specific flavor that is missing in 99.9% of ghost pepper branding.

People still think anything that says Kobe is exported?

I know a guy that used to raise "Kobe beef". In Colorado.

Been a while since I've seen it labeled anything but "kobe style"; in fact more often than not good restaurants don't use the kobe name at all and call it american wagyu.

Out of curiosity I ran a search on Kobe beef. There was literally an article on the scam earlier today.

As they say, there simply isn't enough Wagyu raised in America for all of this "Kobe" beef to be from Japan or America. Oddly, this same problem has happened with Angus beef. There's plenty of Angus in America, but not every Angus burger you buy is going to be 100% Angus. Restaurants (especially fast food restaurants) just love their buzzwords.

Which doesn't surprise me; I'm just saying I don't see i when I'm out. I think nicer restaurants at least here in Seattle know people are aware of the scam. I don't eat at Cheescake Factory.

edit: LOL, that article actually proves me right with their main example:

https://www.thecheesecakefactory.com/menu/kobe-burger?q=Kobe

American Style Kobe Beef with Sauteed Mushrooms, Spicy Mayo and Onions.

Still trying to be sneaky; I usually see it as "Kobe Style" not "American Style Kobe", but it's Cheescake Factory.
