It's great, here are some I had saved on my computer. I love the NES colour pallete on these SotC ones.
OMG at the SOTC shots

Can't say I ever liked how this game looked. Not even when it was new.
Star Fox for sure.
Omigosh, I want this on a T-shirt!!
I do love low poly art, even in games, but only if it's coupled with clean textures. Megaman Legends is a good example.
007 Golden Eye (N64)
I think it's funny the way they put realistic faces on those low poly heads.
And there's a cheat in the game to make all the characters big headed. Man, that thing was insane haha.
Yes. From cancelled Mojang game:

Maybe not as fleshed out as you'd like, but check out Paradis Perdus.
Everytime I see a shot from Interstate '76, it makes me wish there was a sequel.
And then I remember that there was a sequel.
And then I sadly reflect and realize that it's best to not wish for another one.
I would love this to be a genuine artistic style for AAA games. Not all mind you but just having a a large game do this could lead to some interesting worlds to explore and experimentation.
I like low polys when associated to flat shading (and vice versa), probably because it has that "futuristic look of the 80s".
It also makes everything clean, and easy to "understand" visually.
I'm not too fond of pixellated textures, though, most of the time they're adding confusion, and showing a technical limitation more than an attempt of simplification.
Tearaway
Sky Rogue is something everyone should be up on:
First riff I learned on the guitar.
Stunning! Is the game itself any good?
I fell in love with this style quite early in my life, 1985 or '86, not sure anymore.
Please someone tell me that he recognises it.
Hint:
First riff I learned on the guitar.
It's fromthe "Money for nothing" music video by Dire Straits.
Of course!
I love it.

There was a video a long time ago with a massive low poly desert. I loved that video but can't find it any more. I think I see it on Vimeo.
I absolutely adore it, its so effective when its done well. My favorite is when the textures are chunky, poppy, and pixely like old toony capcom games (Megaman Legends, Battle N Chase, and Rival Schools)
Heres a few of my favorite modern lowpoly stuff (aside from the obvious like kenneth fejer):
i actually dabble in it myself but i dont model as often as id like, heres a few model turnarounds ive done:
fake edit- i spent so long trying to find that last gif of the two people walking in unison i got beaten on the SotC ones. The artist made a third one at some point too but i cant remember where it is
Holy crap...
No idea what this is, but I gotta move these microwave ovens.
