So, I want this, I've wanted it for a while, but I'm really nervous about a small community and quitters (do people rage quit online? It's a board game after all)
The community seems super quiet both in this thread and Reddit, so I'm guessing online wont be too popular for this game
I enjoyed the hour long gameplay I saw on Giant Bomb.
I can also satisfyingly enjoy this offline, but how is the A.I?
Also, do we know of their plans to support the PS4 version with patches/content?

Also, for those asking, the AI is pretty good in single player and you can usually find a game online within 5-10 minutes.
If people quit an online game or get disconnected, the AI will take over their hero.
I played the prologue/tutorial, I'd say it's pretty fun, maybe a bit slow

i fucking loved those books as a kid :/ i stopped reading them at some point and when i tried to go back i didn't get the same feeling of wonderment that i had before but i always thought he kept on writing the one book every one/two years. goddammit.
you know, i barely remember any of the stories of each book...
but i remember loving that one the most. or at least close to the top. argh i need to reread all these books now.

I remember reading ALL of the Redwall books up to Triss. I guess it sucks that I don't remember much of them at all when they were once my favorite book series. Still I was pretty upset when I heard that Jacques died, I owe a big part of my childhood to him.
So I have a new game that has me addicted (After Driveclub)... I'm talking like almost 30 hours straight of addicted.
After taking a nap, I finally achieved a rot victorie. Could have had it earlier, if the game didn't bug out on me. Had 10 rot and a straightline to the castle, yet the game didn't let me select a quest, thus I was unable to start the next turn.

I believe it only works when the cards are not equiped and otherwise you can only check it from the main menu.

It's actually doesn't take that long in multiplayer. Most games are around 30 minutes. Tons of fun to play with friends and conspire with/against each other. Backstabbery galore.

Came back home after taking care of my parents pets for a while and played on a monitor. There I didn't have any problems with the text, but on my own tv it was unreadable. I knew this trick actually, just forgot it, because it was unnecessary.
If you know this, only the log and ring/amulet selection are unreadable, The rest of the ui in gameplay provides no problems at all.

Finally sat down and played a couple of games. I'm really enjoying this, it's very relaxing and I love the art design. I got 2 prestige victories with River. I like her playstyle and the fact that she can gank 1 health heroes for free if she's positioned properly.
Has anyone noticed framerate dips when starting the game? It goes away once you're in the main menu, but stuff at the beginning looks bad.

There was a Redwall show? The books were my favourite series as a child. I have the entire collection, many in hardback. I never knew there was a show...
Probably shouldn't watch it now either. It can't possibly match the artwork quality of the book covers.
Had almost backed it when the KS was up, but couldn't commit at the time. Now I was glad to pay for it on PS4.
Probably won't get to play it until some time tomorrow. Hope the PS4 community is a decent size at least until they hopefully are able to combine it with the rest of the PC players as that dev post indicated.
I also agree with all of the Redwall related comments, it's part of what made me interested in Armello.

That was my reaction when the wolf guy died in the prologue. Then I realized you can "die" over and over in this game.

The original is probably the best. That one aside, Pearls of Lutra and Martin the Warrior are my favorites.
Just bear in mind that the books are geared towards readers of a very young age.

Mossflower / Martin the Warrior / The Bellmaker / Pearls of Lutra were the best IMHO.
But again, they are pretty bad if you read them as an adult.

I recommend Nurk, by Ursula Vernon for fans of Redwall. It is good for adults as well. Check it out on Amazon.

Turned on my PS4 to see a 943MB update file being downloaded! Looking around for patch notes, but nothing yet. Will just have to wait until the download finishes to see what 1.02 brings.
I believe kaiyo told me that it fixes the multiplayer bugs where the fame would freeze when playing with ai. It also fixes other multiplayer bugs, I think. We need to get a 4 player party going soon

Game is so buggysecond time I tried playing with kaiyo and we can't get past the ai taking it's first turn. Game also froze during an ambush when playing with four people.

On a side note, has anyone else noticed that when you try to invite a friend to a game (PS4), that the friend invitation screen uses 'O' to select and 'X' to cancel? Where am I, Japan?

Interesting game. I really hate Prestige victory.
It's so easy to get Prestige Victory, and the King dies so quickly that it's really hard to get the stats and get the other victory conditions.
