The show has always been based upon multiple rewatches, as the article above stated, so I see no problem marathoning the show once then slowing down to appreciate the intricacies of each episode while looking for in-jokes.

not in a snarky way: why do you think this when you just watched the show for the first time a month ago? I mean, for one, you haven't even seen every joke in the first three seasons yet and you don't understand just how rewatchable the show is. For two, the show hasn't been a "limited resource" for you at all yet.
on top of all that the show is intentionally being put out all at once. the writers have said so so so many times that they've taken advantage of the platform to create something that will play differently because binge-watching is possible

And technically Before Midnight comes out two days earlier than AD.
Welcome to the party, but you're doing it wrong.
AD is mean to be rewatched MULTIPLE times....then picked apart and rewatched even more. If you have only watched AD one time through you have missed the vast majority of the jokes.
It's great you thought AD was great the first time around, but if you pay attention and then start rewatching it, it is bloody brilliant.

It was cool in that you'll probably never see this big a cluster of AD fans together. Nearly everyone had a shirt with a banana on it.
Totally got a Mr. Manager sticker, which I wore around the office all day.
The RT link in the post I replied to had it at 94%. I was kidding. Added the "After Midnight" joke to drive that home.
