Remember when Samuel L Jackson showed up at the end of a pretty good but not great Iron Man movie in 2008 and people just laughed at the mere thought of an Avengers movie?
I mean shit the Avengers aren't even an a-list team in their own comic line, how could they carry an entire film?

Nothing has been confirmed but the way he smiled at that could be interpreted that way. Or it could have just been a challenge. But with Ragnarok bringing some crazy stuff, I'd say the odds are looking pretty good for death to show up or at least be mentioned directly as his motivation.

My hype for this is unbelievable. I need to go back and rewatch all the films again as I haven't seen many of them in years.
I loved the more faded-gold heavy color scheme of the Mark 42 in IM3. Would love if it comes back.

I want to say Galactus is the only one in that picture they don't have the rights to.
Silver Surfer and Galactus are tied to the Fantastic Four rights. It's honestly the main reason I'd like to the them back at Marvel, with a good Doom being the second reason.
Sony and Marvel have an agreement on the film rights of Spidey. The film rights to Galactus and Silver Surfer are still owned by Fox, unless an unreported backroom deal went down (doubtful).

I can't explain how excited I am for this.
And truthfully, my most wanted aspect of this movie (or to be more specific, the renamed "Part II") is to get a cameo from the AoS cast at some point and for the Defenders (along with Quake and Ghost Rider) to be in the final huge battle, even if it's simply a cut to them fighting Thanos' army.

I need to re-read my Infinity War, Infinity Gauntlet, and Infinity Crusade trades.
Ant Man is on that list. It's also missing Spiderman and the two you mentioned, yeah, as well as probably other characters. They're in there. There's going to be a lot of them.

Nah, it was the perfect way to show how great Vision is as a character.
Cap will pick up the hammer against Thanos and it will still be an amazingly epic moment.

There was hope last year that since Fox needed Marvel's approval for any X-Men TV series, that there'd be something tied to Fox geting to do Legion and the X-Men/mutant show they're working on in exchange for the rights, but that never amounted to anything.
Until we see the post-credits scene in Infinity War Part II that teases Dr. Doom.
It was worth it for the collective audience reaction alone. Whedon set that shit up perfectly.
It's not a comprehensive list. Spidey, Falcon, and War Machine will also likely appear, as will Mantis, and if they're including Captain Marvel, they should probably include Wasp, too.

Absolutely. The hilarious moment with Cap moving it slightly followed up by Vision picking it up out of absolutely nowhere?
The audience I saw it with literally gasped as a collective whole. It was awesome.
