I'm kind of surprised how well this game runs.
2500K OC'ed to 4.5ghz.
16gb of ram
SLI 2 x 680s with just the latest driver, no tweaking
Max everything at 1080p.
Game runs around 90 fps always. Dipped to around 75 while fightingbut thats nothing. Very impressed graphically so far.croc
Try downsampling. Will make a big difference.
To everyone running SLI or a single card like GTX 780: downsample. The game looks so, so much better than running it at 1080p with 8x MSAA.
Any good guides on how to setup downsampling? I'd love to try it.
Specs.

3770k
8gig ram
The Geforce experience thing doesn't see most of my games. It sees Arkham City, but not Asylum or Origins even though they're all installed in the same directory.
Is this a known issue? I googled it but couldn't find a fix.

So... PhysX with a 7970 doesn't work at all... Drops to 15 FPS as soon as physics stuff comes in. Is there any configuration in the PhysX software?

Not really. You won't get any sort of decent performance without an NVIDIA card with PhysX.
Aren't PhysX enhancements executed on CPU if you don't have a Tesla GPU or better?

Regarding downsampling, as this is an Unreal Engine game, does it do that weird thing that increases detail of textures due to the higher resolution? But as you're downsampling the difference in texture detail is a lot more noticeable.
I took this on Dishonoured, the *only* thing changed was the resolution from 1920x1080 -> 3200x1800:

Yes, and it's limited to a single thread as well if I'm not mistaken. Nvidia should allow a separate PhysX card to be used in AMD setups and allow PhysX to be multithreaded. This would alleviate so many problems and make them not look like totalitarian jerks.
Why not simply use the spare GPGPU power in the AMD cards...
Anyone with a GTX 670 or near equivalent comment on Physx performance? Everything seemed fine until I got to an area with a few banners and fog during combat, where it slowed down noticeably (but not totally horrible).
It's a shame because I actually kinda like the physx in this game... DX11 performance is sick though.

It is working as intended. PhysX code runs like dog shit on CPUs, which is where it runs when using a non Nvidia GPU. You should pretty much always consider PhysX features to be Nvidia exlusive.
That just looks like you need to adjust the negative LOD bias.
SLI users:
I started the game (3xSLI 680GTX) and noticed constant judder while fraps show constant 60 fps. Judder is there at max settings and lowest settings. Installed 313.58 whql drivers and judder is the same.
Then I opened bmengine.ini and changed MaxSmoothedFrameRate from -1 (no limit) to 60 and then game is smooth. DaGSyncFeelOf course, bSmoothframerate must be 'TRUE'.
There are two MaxSmoothedFrameRate inside bmengine.ini, it's the last one.
Game is really awesome.
Thanks I must have missed it (I'm on my phone). I'll check it out when I get a chance. Physx has never run great for me though so I'm not that disappointed if that's the way it is.Yup, I put up some comments on it with a 770 which isn't far above your card at all.Just read back up the thread
With your setup you should easily be getting 60+ at all times with 2xMSAA, I think.
Wasn't there supposed to be a built-in benchmark utility?

gtx 770 4gb
i5-3750 3.4GHz
So, to get constant 60 fps on my rig, I:
-shouldn't use that fancy PhysX stuff
-should have any kind of AA disabled
Is that right? I still have 3 more hours until I can play it, so now I'm thinking about best possible settings to get 60fps at 1080p.
When downsampling, what kind of AA should I use (if any)?
