Im not a fan of the constant nerfs to the now assualt spawn beacon. We have had how many games with the beacon effectively giving infinite spawns and in many ways this was the only reason Rush and Breakthrough could work for the attacking team.
They should of given it increased radio chatter to make it easier to hear and find in an area if one is placed and the implemented icon once spotted, not nerfed its functionality into the floor. This is like what 2042 did to the tracer dart, the result being it was never used.

Last Battlefield I played was BC2/3.
Is this the Battlefield to buy and not skip? Do they intend to support it for a long time or will there be a sequel in a couple of years?
EDIT: I did my homework, it seems like the average longevity of a modern Battlefield game is around 2-3 years. So pretty low for a multiplayer game. No need to ring EA.

Given the apparently average campaign I'm going to have to play the multiplayer mostly on this and with Arc coming soon I'm going to try to get back in to multiplayer gaming.

I got the phantom edition but I'll not jump on board immediately today. I don't want to waste my 2-hour refund window on Steam by being stuck in queue or having other issues arise that eat away that time.
I'll just load up some streams first and see how everyone gets on.

So I've been reading some more about the "Pro Token" and aside from the incredibly meaningless 25 tier skips (I never understand why people care for that sort of thing): Does it actually add exclusive "BlackCell" type content or nah? Because if it really is just the 4 skins you get with the Phantom Edition (and those tier skips) then I'll definitely refund and get the normal edition instead.

I think some old Cod 4 maps like Crash, District and Backlot would work well in Portal. But I have no interest in playing Shipment.
