Battlefield Hardline |OT| Battlefield FIVE-O

So I bought this game during the Origin sale and I have one question.

Why is every European server awful? :/

Every server has 1000+ tickets and maybe 2-3 maps at most. No server has all maps available, DLCs included.

Matches go on for way too long and its always the same maps like Dustbowl. Its frustrating as hell.
 
The new maps are incredible man. Fuck. It sucks that this game is so underrated and the getaway DLC will be dead within a month. Visceral has fucked up a lot of things in this game, but if there's one thing they have absolutely nailed, it's the DLC maps. Robbery and Getaway both have amazing maps to play that work perfect for this game. They are so detailed and beautiful. It sucks so bad that the DLC servers don't stay populated like they should be.


And capture the bag? It's a fucking blast omg.
 
The new dlc is really great and the new competitive mode is really good.Reminds me the rescue mode of r6 siege.

And one of the dlc maps reminds me a lot to one of the levels of mirror's edge.

Xbox one freezing has been rampant since launch, I believe. Some people are affected by it, others aren't. Visceral hasn't fixed it yet, which has been one of the biggest complaints on their forums. I'm not on that platform, so I can't give you advice. It's useless to post about it on their forums too, cuz the developers are never active there. Not even their community managers.

damn. it only started happening after this update. can't go 5 minutes without the game freezing.

This is happening to me as well, the game just hard locks about 5 seconds after I spawn for the first time after joining a game. Never had the issue until they updated the game, but before I downloaded the latest expansion.
 
I had the same freezing issue as well since June, and it really pisses me off how they really haven't even acknowledged the issue. Seriously, I wonder how many people don't play the game on X1 because the game freezes after a minute of getting into a match.

Last week I got sick of it and I found a fix that worked for me, I have zero idea if it replicatable, but if your game is freezing like a minute or two when you spawn in a match, try this. Go into your console settings, then go into manage account, and uninstall your account from your Xbox, then re-download it. Only takes like 2 minutes total, and it fixed my issue after months. I also read online that some people fixed it by clearing their save data, but nothing worked for me (and I did alot..) besides redownloading my gamertag. All of your data and games will still be saved, so don't worry about loosing anything.

since the beta i've said it was fun but not $60-110 fun.

the main thing i think is how much do you like the more infantry based and light-on-vehicle maps in proper BF games.

some people can't get over that, and yes, it is a big deal.

i'm ok with it, i can and still do play BF4. along with most people hahaha.

i would say it was worth the price i paid on PS4, but i can't say the same for XB1 as the game no longer works for more than a few minutes without a hard lock.

dunno about PC< but avoid on Xbox One, you don't wanna be stuck with a game that doesn't work after a month.

tried this. didn't work.

already tried clearing just the save data a few days prior.

even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. good thing i don't have a bandwidth cap!
 
Agreed EA insisting on charging $49 or $24 for all dlc depending if it's on sale or really trying to get 15 for each piece it just EA bullshit and not caring. EA cannot clearly adapt on the fly to see their game needed to be made free support after it failed to be a good enough game to stand on its own. EA you can't say you supported a game with continued content if your charging full price.

A visceral developer tweeted out that they're planning on doing something about that soon, but they can't really do anything about it yet until Betrayal comes out. Cross your fingers and hope they make the DLC maps free and add them to the regular map rotation. That would be the best news ever.

I feel your pain btw. There's DLC servers on PS4, but they're always conquest large which I don't like in this game. Never seen any heist servers which is my main mode.

At this point they really should give away premium for free like they did with the Titanfall Season Pass.

I bought two dlc packs recently on XboxOne (both for 8€, thanks to region switch :D ) and it wasnt possible to find a EU server that has some DLC maps going. Had to play on US servers. Wasnt that bad connection wise.

But i still prefer paid maps. Because when i look at this "free" updates that some games receive, the amount of content isnt that much.
The only downside is sadly splitting the community.

But in Hardline's case, it needs to be free now. I love the game. I love what Visceral is doing. But at this point its rude to still ask for Premium etc. The game already has a very tight playerbase. And Free Premium would probably boost the population again.

yup, i dont feel like these maps where really build with conquest in mind, they just needed it in there because battlefield.

These maps are amazing for 32p blood money/ heist games tho :). I truly hope they can do something about the map thing because i really still enjoy it.

The trailer also confirms the release date, which is March 1st for premium and March 15 for everyone else. Remember this too, every time there's a new DLC drop, there's always a patch that releases too. They mentioned they were going to fix the Xbone freezing issues so here's hoping they finally do.

That trailer got me so hyped.
 
Patch update is live! 3.5GB. Also, betrayal releases today and visceral said there's still another patch later this month too! Hopefully free DLC? Plz!
 
The community has figured out how to unlock the mammoth gun and the Syndicate gun.

No video on the Syndicate gun yet, but these are the requirements/steps:

In the map "Graveyard", you must have a squad of five, four of which hold each of the "Legacy" weapons (i.e Thompson, M1 Carbine, etc.), and the final player must have the Mammoth Gun.

On the D flag, there are four symbols on each of the surrounding tombs, and you must have each player, with each "Legacy" gun, on their respective tombs.

If the player is near the right tomb, after two seconds, an interact option will appear on the symbol.

The player with the Mammoth Gun must head downstairs, inside the catacombs of D, were a similar symbol will be laying on the floor near the entrance. He will stand on that symbol on the ground.

All "Legacy" weapon players must interact with their symbols at the same time. Something big will happen when this is done right (No spoilers intended).

I can't get the Premium content as when I press Store, the screen turns gray. Tried restarting game.

Edit: it's a bug, I had to logout the other household member signed in with Kinect.
 
Are there people playing on PC or is it empty?
Subbed on EA access for a month and was wondering if it's worth to try it out.
(already played plenty of BF 3 and 4)
 
I play almost every game, and you know what, Hardline is actually one of my favorite mpgame, i love the mp, its just plain fun, its to bad that so many people hate it, i wonder if everyone that hates the game actually played it?

I have WAY more fun with this than BF4, and i bought the premium when the game were released, but if making all the dlc free gets the game more populated its fine with me.

I love the gun bench, awesome tool =)
