Yes and no. taking out the QTEs and halving the lol we're in a different genre now segments are massive improvements, but the base combat feels really weird 'cos of umbran climax

Was actually confirmed in the video that we'll be getting an amiibo for her, as well as Corrin and Cloud.

Bayonetta looks FABULOUS.
The only thing I would ask for is a Panther Within dash animation, but everything else is SO AMAZING that I can't complain.
I mean, she fights with all four guns; she can do the leg stretch AND the handstand; she has dozens and dozens of combos; she can extend them with gunfire; she has two side specials, and the aerial one can be directed; she has Wicked Weaves for smash attacks; she has Witch Time for a counter, and it sticks to the target (!!!); she has the Bat Within for dodging and a counter failsafe; a Climax Attack with friggin' Gomorrah for a Final Smash; both her Bayo 2 AND original looks, AND a Jeanne color scheme; she has the magic circles, the rose petals, the butterflies and butterfly wings; she has an indefinite dancing taunt (that can be canceled); multiple trophies for side characters (when Street Fighter only got Ken and Final Fantasy got none); the only third-party DLC stage with tons of music (including the GOAT Bayonetta theme, Red & Black), AND it's the iconic falling clocktower from both games; and she has the best poster art of any newcomer.

I can only hope that there is another Bayonetta game in the next few years (not now, Platinum has a lot of games in development.

Bayo doesn't use realistic guns. They look like bright blue (or red) toys that fire magic bullets out of magic circles.

Comes out in February which is also the month of Platinum's 10th Anniversary. I'm expecting more Bayo related surprises even though I probably shouldn't.
Was musing some reaction vids, nobody instantly recognized the moon or the voice.

You didn't like the Umbran Climaxes in Bayo 2? I thought they were incredibly fun, pummeling the shit out of giant enemies, sometimes even juggling multiple giants at once.

So are you going to continue the trend of making up arbitrary imaginary reasons why characters "CAN'T" or "WON'T" be in Smash for the next installment? It just wouldn't be SmashGAF without people acting like they have a window into Nintendo board rooms or Sakurai's soul.
How so? I had a blast with it and thought the combat throughout was great.
Very glad they dropped the filler and insta-death QTEs.

Yamagami seems to be in love with Platinum Games.
It's awesome to see big deals at Nintendo so impressed with Platinum.
I mean, it's not shocking as they both flourish in the gameplay department but they're a niche company and to have fans from a bigger company...it's cool and promising.
I mean, look at all the work Platinum has already done with Nintendo.
