This was the image that made me really want to get a Wii U.

I have always really loved the design of the Supergrafx. It's like a robot about to punch you with awesome games or something.

OT:

Thinking about this some, people often say one of the reasons the Wii U is selling is because of customer confusion about whether it's actually a new console, but I never hear the same thing levied against the Vita. I'd argue that's an even bigger problem here with these two portables.

But back on-topic, I can't deny that those are two sleek pieces of kit. Vita's UI is atrocious though

EDIT: criminy, had no idea those images were so big

Most people don't seem to think customers' confusion comes from the similar looking console but rather the name and marketing choices.

Best looking console in this thread is the Game Boy micro. Get your shit straight people :P

Seriously, if I was swimming in extra cash I'd buy every single color. My silver will do though :D

It looks pretty good. I can't understand why people seem to love it so much though besides its small form factor being great for portability.

Are people misreading the OP and posting shit pictures of nice hardware, or do they actually think half of these are nice photos?

People are misinterpreting the thread.

Fantastic sharp and vibrant backlit screen, awesome buttons, great finish, stunning design and it actually IS a pocket size portable.

Just took this pic of mine. Looks much better in person though

My handhelds (except DS Lite, PSP and launch purple GBA):

Yellow GBP owner ***high five***

Mine

The Micro's d-pad is so godly. And yeah, that PPI and portability. Best GBA model in my opinion.

^ Yellow Pocket is best Pocket. Except mine had to get repaired and got a silver screen frame... at the time I thought it looked really cool, but it destroyed its yellow-and-black-ness :/

Does the screen still look good by today's standards? You mention the sharp and vibrant screen, but it's only 140 pixels per inch which isn't necessarily all that great. Still, your other reasons are sound. I certainly wouldn't call it the nicest looking handheld, but maybe the nicest looking Nintendo handheld! I'd like to buy one but it doesn't look like you can it cheap anymore.

YES. Definitely.
Screen on this thing looks gorgeous. I cant really show it off in screenshots but the PPI is high enough for the screen size.

Try to get you hands on one and crank up the brightness to the max.

edit: Stolen from the Arturo's GAF micro thread pics :P

My little guy.

Game Boy micro is possibly the best looking gaming hardware i've ever seen. Simple, clean, easy to use. Great screen. It has it all.

Yeah just having fun with it. I actually really hate that design so I'm glad it's fake.

Yea that PS4 design is really bad. Gamers always complain about every hardware shown and say how they look like utter-shit, yet every fanmade console I've seen looks completely bat-shit awful.

I wish you guys would stop posting PC cases without saying what they are. -_- I'm looking to buy a bigger case but can't get any info on half the beautiful cases in this thread.
