Davey was also based off of motion capture, with extra animations added on of course for the extra stuff like the tentacles. In all seriousness though, both were major advances with mocap. The tech for Gollum helped pioneer it, and the tech behind Davey Jones took it to the next level. And that tech is a couple years old now, you should see what we have currently.![]()
