So I've played it and... I have my doubts... Where is inventory? Where are souls or other currency dropping out of enemies? No character development? Overall it's still Souls game at it's core gameplay and I like it but... I hope this is still an RPG.

Also I miss "You have died"...

Its an alpha, and even then the build may be older in order to have a stable build available. All that stuff will be in, thats just how things usually are.

The guy using the hammer? Seems like a pretty normal pace for someone playing through a Souls-type game for the first time. I'd call it fast even. He was being pretty careless.
