Epic beards just no, gotta disagree. People sportin' zz top like beards? Not hot. Especially when food gets stuck in it.
I don't like beards that are out of control, either. Nicely groomed beards can be really sexy, though.

i have trouble sometimes trying to figure out if a guy likes me or not. or just want to be friends.

For any hetero-females here, the answer is probably both a lot of the time.

While this has already been answered, I would just like to say that it varies between people, regardless of their sex. We are all human, after all, and men and women are not as different as many of us have been socialized to believe as true.

I've known guys who have had crushes that were strictly romantic in nature, and girls who have feelings that have been nothing but lust-ridden. (If anything, I speak a lot more about sex and hot people in general with girls, but almost never with guys. I've also only heard girls say things like, "God, I want him to rip off my clothes and do me right now". Anecdotal, but interesting to some, perhaps.)

The bottom line? Humans are humans. :)

I have an odd question, when girls have a crush or fancy a guy, what do they generally feel? Most of my crushes and such are kind of sexual first then mental later, call it primitive it is how it is. Also im in the camp of people that doesnt really understand what girls see in guys, were not talking the "well look at brad pitt answers" because no man looks like that save the man himself, im talking in general, what do average girls see in average guys, or is it just the pure evolutionary construct?[b/]

My first boyfriend I'd consider average looking but he was a genuinely nice guy and hilarious. I had dumb ass visual only crushes in highschool on total assholes, but this guy friend was my first "falling in love with someone based on personality" for sure. Eventually we broke up because the relationship felt off to us, and we reverted back to being pals. It's also the reason I totally reject the notion you can't go back to being friends, it all depends on how you broke up, how long you were together and any animosity there. For us it was just a matter of going back to our original dynamic, nothin' hard about that.

Maybe it felt off because the visual part of it was lacking.

Are you a guy? If so, don't do it. Nasty.

I have only seen ponytails on neckbearded, greasy, and fairly overweight nerds. :(
In general, though, I'd have to give an emphatic NO to ponytails on guys.

The only thing worse than a guy with long hair is a guy with long hair that puts it in a ponytail....and mullets. Mullets are bad too.

Joseph Patrick Mauer. He's a good Minnesota boy. Not all Minnesota boys are quite this strapping, though.

I actually asked the same question in the stupid questions thread haha.
Somebody said it looked like Joe Mauer from the Minnesota Twins. Still not sure if it is.

EDIT:Beaten, but I provided another picture of sexy Mr. Mauer, so I win.

Ah, thank you. Also to _Isaac for that pic of him.

Question to Gay-GAF/Girl-GAF:

Long hair on a guy Y/N/M?

I rarely feel attracted to guys with long hair. But there are exceptions here and there mostly involving blonde guys (ie. Chris Hemsworth in "THOR"). And I usually feel that those guys look hotter with shorter hair.

We're not gonna have to have a facial hair comparison up in this bitch are we?

My personal policy is to keep it light and thin.

Well I rocked one for a bit when I was younger but I've had the same hairstyle for the past few years so I've been wanting to just mix it up for the sake of it. But yeah, it was pretty gross in hindsight. Oh wells.

No, there is worse thing: a guy wearing bandana. *vomits*

Nah I think it was just us liking each other's company but not clicking much more than that. And generally liking each other's company meant we could just be pals, we wouldn't have to make it a romance.

Since when is a show called Gigolos SFW? I erred on the side of caution, man!

As for hair styles: Man some of you guys are picky. Long hair, shoulder length hair, hell even Bandana's can look good on a man if they make it work.

I was surprised girls talked like this behind closed doors. Was I surprised she was talking about me like that? Not really; I am pretty good looking. /flex

What if I have hair everywhere?

The only place it matters for some reason: your back. Do you have a lot of hair on your back?

EDIT: Oh you don't. You're cool then. I approve.

I prefer looking girly anyways, but my hair is by no means anything resembling attractive. Heh.

I also suffer from horrible depression and crippling social/anxiety fears. So I can hide behind the bangs. There is a bright side!

Your female friends are right, Janga. The only kind of long hair I think looks great on guys is that...one kind. Like, the one the Caspian dude in Narnia (lol) has. Or Desmond in LOST.

Do girls actually like nice, honest guys? I know it's pretty obvious that people like nice people but if a guy has nothing going on in his life and that's why he wants to start dating (so that he could mix it up) would that be appealing? So yeah if it was the guy who was all clueless and stuff. Is that at all appealing?

Not that I'm in anyway like that. >_>

:p

I know this belongs in a girl-age thread but I'd like a feminine perspective on this.
