Somebody said it looked like Joe Mauer from the Minnesota Twins. Still not sure if it is.

Depends on the person, really. Long hair (like beyond shoulder length) looks really tacky if it isn't handled well.

Something like: Richard Hammond's period of slightly long hair is borderline.
