You don't get banned for giveaways here. You get banned for vitriol posts or inciting others, and juniors are just banned at the first strike.

EDIT2: SOLD

EDIT So it has come to my attention that this post actually has a major typo. The listed price of $120 is actually incorrect, and as I posted in the previous Buy/Sell/Trade thread, I am still asking for $140. I have edited the post below to reflect this and am sending PMs to all interested parties. Apologies for any confusion this has caused, I can only blame myself and my inexperience for making such a mistake. :(

Bumping from previous thread:
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Hey everyone, I'm totally new to the whole buy/sell thing, but I figured if I was going to try and sell something, it might as well be on NeoGAF. There may be some issues due to my inexperience, so please be patient with me/ :)

Alright, so I have a NA PlayStation Vita-1000 sitting around collecting dust and thought that it might get more use from one of you guys. Here's a list of what will be included:

-PlayStation Vita-1000 NA WiFi model (original box and documents included).
-32GB Memory Card for the PlayStation Vita.
-PlayStation Vita-1000 USB Cable and AC Adapter.

I want to sell all of the above for $140.00. I have both Steam and Paypal so hopefully we can figure out payment quickly.
As for shipping, I would prefer to ship to locations in NA but we may be able to work something out, so don't be afraid to PM me.

The Vita itself is in good working condition, but there is noticeable wear and tear since I've owned it (and used it vigorously) since launch. There are some scratches on the sides (pics below) but none on the screen. Buttons and triggers are a bit mushy while the d-pad is more clicky when pressing on the left direction. The touch screen and back touch screen input work fine, and the back touch pad is in relatively good condition. The cables are in working condition, with the USB cable being a new replacement as the older one was ripped up during a road trip last year. The screen itself has no display issues outside of the mura prevalent in most Vita OLED screens.

Aren't junior bans permanent?

Here's Toemon's first post in Media Creates

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=128158901&postcount=1007

Which led to an argument between himself and pretty much the rest of the Media Creates thread... which led to him later saying he doesn't know much about the Japanese market but still being adamant the XBone would do well there which later led to this which got him banned:

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=129317519&postcount=126

Here is one of Eddie Griffin's many posts about Xbox One in Japan from last week's Media Creates thread:
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=130328690&postcount=918

... which started getting pretty much the entire thread to jump on him (similar to Toemon). He posted a few more times in that thread and then some more in today's thread after the Xbone (shockingly) floundered again in Japan.

EDIT: Tbh the syntax like "Erhem" and "Tune in next Wednesday!" seems similar to Eddie Griffin's.
Thanks for this info, brother.

Speaking of juniors how many posts does someone need to become a member? I'm over 100 feedback but don't really venture outside this thread that often.

The Satellite of Love
For sale is one backlight modded Gameboy Advance AGB 001. I'm asking $140 shipped. PayPal and U.S. buyers only, please. I now have an additional one of these mods and would rather sell it than have an extra unit laying around that I won't use. These mods are quickly becoming increasingly hard to find as the screens used in the mod are limited in quantity and starting to run out causing some sites such as Rose Colored Gaming to position them as a mod they will no longer be able to sell. Please note this is GBA hardware however the system's case that was used for the mod may be aftermarket. This is a pre-modded unit I originally purchased from a seller online. The screen is clean with no dust behind it (I carefully cleaned it myself) and the backlight is crisp and vibrant. Brightness is somewhere in between the SP's default and "brighter" settings if that helps as a comparison. I have been playing it all summer with GBA, GBC and GB cartridges and it works great and is an absolute blast to use. Here are some pictures of it in action:

Running Kirby's Dreamland GB cart:

Running RTYPE DX and SMB DX for GBC:

Back of the unit (you can see the orange mod cable for the backlight):

My first instinct with Eddie was credit card fraud and I'd theft but that's just because I deal with that kind of fraud at work.

Gift cards are probably the number one item for credit fraud purchases due to their ability to be sold for cash.

Of course I know nothing and maybe he had some magic connection where he got them legally.

Annoying, immature, overzealous and the list goes on. I knew in my gut that he would not last the week and was hoping most Gaffers would not give in to giving the guy money just to save a few dollars as you can just tell something was off though some got their stuff.

Well his sale page looked like it was ripped straight from geocities which was a huge red flag. It's unlikely users will be held accountable for stolen codes so they can breathe easy.

I do not represent or have anything to do with Mr. Griffin, but as we had a previous transaction we had access to one another's email, so he did ask me to post a couple of things here since money has changed hands (having nothing to do with the lottery he was holding) for some specific transactions with GAFers; first, he asked me to say to a "David" that the stuff they have purchased is on its way. Hopefully that means something to someone. There was one other thing he wanted me to post in here too, when I hear from him what that it is I will post it. Mods, feel free to remove this post if not appropriate, I just want to make sure no GAFers who have already paid this individual for an item get screwed over with no way to contact him.

I honestly don't know about Eddie apart from these posts. My only desire was to maintain the goodwill and nearly undramatic nature of this thread; fraud or not, the inability to do that was maddeningly frustrating. He (or she) had great deals, but the tone and manner ruined much of it. Sad.

Either way, it's been an eventful start to the new thread.

Looking to Sell or Trade

I'm looking for PSN or Amazon credit, along with RPGs for 3DS, DS, SNES, and Wii. A pipe dream would be a slim PS3 as well; mine recently broke, and a replacement is needed.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1umPS78Ha3-N3dWsEMIgCQI9DdrdXAH2g53bndeTJQwc/edit#gid=0

Here are the systems I have games for:
  1. 360
  2. Vita
  3. 3DS
  4. SNES
  5. PS1/PS2/PC
  6. GameCube/Wii/Wii U
Send me offers, and we can talk. Cheers, folks.

Hey guys, just got the Slim Vita and I don't want to play Borderlands 2 at all.

I was looking to trade the code for PSN credit, or maybe even eShop credit. First time posting in this thread, so you would need to have good rep already! Thanks for your time.

Yeah, he's a scammer... Here's a copy of the emails we were having back and forth before he freaked out.

I sincerely doubt I have the ability to fix the ban. I'm not understanding why you cannot just send me the codes via email here.

There's still a possibility of being scammed if the codes were obtained through fraudulent means and those codes by association are reported. I hope none of you who bought from him come into future predicaments if that's the case. Did anyone get a straight answer on how he got such cheap codes?

I hope those of us who got codes don't get into any trouble. I thought he bought a bunch of $10 giftcards from Gamestop a few days back, when they had the Kongregate coupon going on, where you could get $10 gift cards for $5.

I just figured he was trying to convert Gamestop credit into cash.

This whole situation is crazy. I can really only say what my own experience with him has been. He sold me a single eShop code for a good price. That's the extent of it. He had an unusual salesman-esque demeanor and has been pleasant to communicate with individually, but that's all I've got. I recommend anyone who is having concerns to contact him via his Paypal email, if they have already had a transaction with him.

He did want me to say again to David that his items are on their way to him. Again, I am not sure which poster this is, I hope if you are the David in question that you happen to see this.

Anyone else bought other items from Eddie other than gift cards? I paid for the wii u when it was like $120 the other day and all this negative talk is making me nervous. He did say I would get my items this weekend so hopefully that's that

Definitely not. Because why would someone sell $20 codes for $10 yet $50 codes for $35? It's impossible to net profit at such discounts with Kongregate coupon abuse.

I hope none of you get your codes void or your account in trouble at worst.

It's not about not getting what they paid for, but possible future repercussions honestly. There's been a good handful who got working codes already.

Yes, it is. Someone bought a Wii U from him that is posting here and on the Facebook GAF group. His purchase is in limbo and he paid via the friend/family option on Paypal.

He only sent me one code for the $50 PSN, was planning to go ahead for $70 but he refuse to sell both until first sale due to recent scamming issue.

So far mine is still here the day he listed his sale
