Can someone explain the Tekken story

Kazuya never made a deal with the devil, His mom had it, his son has it, he has it. Its like the sharingan. Except your turn into a satan

He turns into devil man satan
Jin turns into lincon Park satan
Kazumi turns into naruto satan

I never liked that they retconned this. It's much cooler making a deal with the devil than it being hereditary.

But Heihachi did still climb out of the volcano yeah

I just got Tekken 7 and I have no idea what is going on in the story . All I know about the story in Tekken is that people like throwing people in volcanos.

1.
Rich man hates son, throws him off a cliff, hosts tournament because he likes to fight. Son lives, grows up, joins that year's tournament, beats dad, finds out the business is selling weapons, throws dad off same cliff, takes business.

2.
Rich man lives, Son host tournament because bored and he is now part devil part angel. He bangs one of the fighters and she gets preggers. Dad wins tournament, throws son into volcano.

3.
Years pass, Son has a son. Granddad host tournament, son is still dead, Son's son mom is missing. Granddad revives demon as weapon. Grandson kills demon, goes home.

4. Son is back. Controls competing company to Granddad. Son's Son caught in middle of bullshit

5-7.
Family fights, some shit about the Devil gene. Grandma is powerful but pacifist. Great Granddad is alive because reasons. Mom might be alive and a monster.

Tekken?

Story?

Explanation?

Wat

Some dudes and ladies smashing each other with nonsensical moves and throw young people into some hot volcano places.

Also, Nina is still sexy after 20+ years, my dudes.

Kazuya was just a kid who was traumatized by his mother's death and his upbringing so the whole "I made a deal with the devil" thing was honestly his mind playing tricks on him.

Can someone also explain to me the bear and the Panda?
Kuma is Heihachi's body guard. He was found by Heihachi as a cub. He is also a member of the Tekken Force.

Panda is Xiaoyu's pet, and her bodyguard. Kuma loves Panda but Panda hates Kuma.

GODDAMMIT WOOLIE!, DONT YOU BRING NARUTO INTO RUIN THIS SHIT!

The naruto dude already designed an outfit for lars in 6, and kazumi litterally looks like that woman from the end of naruto. Someone on tekken staff likes naruto , and some visual changes to ibuki, someone on the sf staff also likes naruto. Tekken has a lot of anime inspirations too, like kazuya is literally just vegeta devil man.

Its just when tekken has a visual reference to something, they just keep their mouths shut.

" Why is leo just rock howard"

" don't worry about it"

" why does cladio have a bunch of SNK moves"

" don't worry about it"

" Why does raven look like wesley snipes"

" Don't worry about it"

I never liked that they retconned this. It's much cooler making a deal with the devil than it being hereditary.

I think the opposite.

Yes he did. As he will in Tekken 8.

Nah.

He might be Jokered into the story though. Flash backs n stuff. Or he'll just show up in tekken tag as a new member of the tekken " death" council

All I know is that when it comes to Tekken, all family Squabbles either end when someone getting thrown off a cliff or end with an explosion.

I'm just waiting for Tekken 8 to find out that
Heihachi can swim in lava and will be back in the sequel where he will throw his son into the Lava next.

Can someone also explain to me the bear and the Panda?

the bear name is Kuma and he is Heihachi pet/bodyguard and he trained him in karate and is part of the Tekken force, Panda is Ling Xiaoyu pet/bodyguard who was also trained by Heihachi

also Kuma has a thing for Panda but Panda doesn't like Kuma

oh and there were two Kumas, Kuma I was in Tekken 1 and 2 while Kuma II is in every other game

Can someone also explain to me the bear and the Panda?

There are two bears (named Kuma). Kuma 1 was raised by Heihachi. Heihachi treats him better than his own son. Kuma 1 dies of old age after Tekken 2. Kuma 2 is his child, same deal with Heihachi, trains it, etc. Panda is Xiaoyu's pet. Kuma 2 wants to bang Panda but it never happens AFAIK.

Still baffle me that they decide to make Steve Fox her son.
They can't make regular boxer for character setting. Nope. The boxer gotta be the result of impregnating an assassin who's currently undergoing cryogenic sleep. Which make Nina biologically body 22 y.o while being 44 y.o and her son is 21 y.o... yeah, crazy

Nah.

With as many times as Heihachi supposedly died just in Tekken 7 I'm surprised you're so confident. We didn't see his body fall into the lava at the end when Kazuya drops him, either. At this point unless he has his head cut off I will never believe he's actually dead.

If you got Tekken 7, Tekken 7 has story summaries in it's gallery for every game.

I started watching these the other night. Just the first three, really.

They're not very well explained. Quite honestly, if I didn't already know what was going on, my reaction to them would be "who is that? wtf just happened?" over and over again.

Gon isn't in canon as far as I can tell. Just a guest character in Tekken 3 for consoles.

Dr. Bosconovich is essentially the mad scientist of the Tekken series. He works with Yoshimitsu in a few of the earlier Tekkens, improved Bryan Fury making him stronger and created Alisa, modeled after his own daughter.

I think he also has a rival named Dr. Abel. This is the crazy evil scientist that often tries to destroy Jack in various endings from a laser-equipped space satellite. Not sure where else he fits in.

Yea, they aren't really great. These summaries were initially in T6 as one video. It mostly served to setup the framework for T6's ridiculous plotline more than provide an overarching lore summary. Still gives the general gist, but it leave you with just as many if not more questions.

Granted, part of the fun for the endings was always piecing together scraps of nonsense using imagination and guesswork.

I didn't watch all of them, but most of them just totally lacked context. I didn't feel like I learned that much from watching them.

Tekken 3:

Xiaoyu wants to go to the themepark with her pet panda, but Heihachi doesn't like that since its his themepark.

Yoshimitsu cannot afford health care, so he asks Dr. B a retired herbal medicine quack to perform surgery. The surgery goes wrong and Yoshimitsu ends up as a Cyborg butterfly in Tekken 4.

Bryan: is a cop who is mad at the the same Doctor because his pension is lousy.

Gon: is a rejected digimon character who is mad at the doctor for being created. "I didn't ask for this".

Law is best buddies with Paul, but his father doesnt want him to enter tournaments so it's hush-hush

Eddy: Nobody cares why Eddy is in the tournament, because you're a fucking hack if you use eddy. button mashing cheater!

Julia is mad because Heihachia took her jewelry so she entered the tournament to show her whose boss

Nina and Anna are sisters who are angry about something nobody knows why.

Gun Jack is a cyborg with an outdated OS who is sad that he is no longer relevant and decides to throw a hissyfit.

King is a rejected wrestler with a furry addiction who likes to save kids in backyard allys while oiled and half naked

Kuma is a bear trained in martial arts by Heihachi who wants to fight for no good reason

Hworang has a inferiority complex over Jin, because his hair is less "sasuske" than his. he also wantted to avenge his master or something like that.

Mokujin: Heihachis wooden real doll that comes to fight in the tournament.

The raptor and kangaroo: more of the doctors crazy experiments.

Tekken 3 had one of the best stories of all time. The writers must have done some epic meth to get the inspiration for it.

What about Roger and Alex?

btw, Tekken volleyball was sick af
The first Roger was created by Dr. B, as was Alex, at the request of Kazuya who was interested in an army of fighting animals. Roger was then trained by Armor King, for reasons.

In Tekken 5, Roger was kidnapped and Roger Jr (his kid, still in the pouch) and his mother went to find him. Roger Jr has been in every Tekken since then (except 7 so far). They find Roger, who is just chilling enjoying his life without the old ball and chain.

OMG I would love nothing more than to get into painstaking detail about the Tekken story as I have the bulk of it committed to memory but I'm unfortunately at work so I cannot commit that kind of time to this. lol

What about Roger and Alex?

Roger and Alex were both creations of doctor Bosconovitch (who was working for Kazuya at the time) and were made to fight

they both got some lessens from Armor King about wrestling after being thrown out by Kazuya so that they could enter second Iron Fist Tournament

during said tournament they encounted Jun Kazama and Jun had them moved to Australia so they could live out there lifes

fast forward to tekken 5 and Roger gets kidnapped and his son and mate enter the Tournament to find him

Let's see... What you need to know:

Did both Kings need to win money for the orphanage?

Speaking of which, there are two Kings and Armour Kings. King 1 and Armor King 1 were rivals and friends, Armor King 1 was King 2's mentor, Armor King 1 was killed by Marduk. King 2 ended up teaming up with Marduk. Armor King 2 hated Marduk for killing Armor King 1, and was annoyed at King 2 for joining him.

Also, Armor King 1 also trained Roger and Alex.

Why would King 2 even team up with Marduk? And Tekken is 1v1 anyway, why the fuck would he even need a partner

Good summary.

All I know is I've enjoyed the crazy story of Tekken than something like Street Fighter. The character endings in some of these games are hilarious.

For Tekken Tag!

Is there a list of who finished where in the tournaments according to canon?

I know Hwoarang beat Jin in 5 and Paul got to the final against Ogre in 3.

I think King came third in the first one.

Wait. Ogre participated in the tournament?

Wtf
