I find it endlessly amusing that Nintendo is apparently having trouble restocking the Wii whereas Sony is apparently having no trouble at all getting PS3s to retailers. Seems they really did resolve the diode issue.

And, LOL, they're actually selling. Impossible, GAF told me. I guess the next bit of FUD is that PS3 will only do 60k in January.

The 26th is Boxing Day in Canada, which is like the biggest retail day of the year here. So lots of people are already starting shopping online, so this isn't that big of a surprise.

Boxing Day = what Black Friday is in the U.S. or at least the closest equivalent.

I mulled picking one up, but I figure there's no rush anymore. Should be able to find units in stores a lot more easily from here on out. Best Buy.ca had 32" Sharp LCD HDTVs for $899 Canadian ... I missed out on that already
