That folks is a very good thing. I'm going with the Wii U over the other systems because of Nintendo IPs as I only have time and money to devote to one home console going forward but I want Nintendo to feel the heat from Sony and Microsoft. I want them to give me reasons to stay with them instead and/or not also support the others as well with my money. Pressured Nintendo is the best Nintendo after all.

The Wii U will be at CES. At behind closed door demos like the 3DS was last year.

Nintendo hasn't had a booth at CES since..... fuck knows.

But unlike 3DS, Nintendo hasn't even shown Wii U to press behind closed doors (anywhere in the world) since E3, AFAIK, so it would be very odd to bring it out again just to show the E3 demos again.

Probably best to err on the side of pessimism and figure that's what'll happen, though.

An update, if there even is any new stuff to begin with. There won't be any significant changes to the system we saw at E3. All Iwata said was that they'll show the final system at E3 2012.
