At least you'll still have Adam James, though!
This just means that Jimmy Sexton is "leaking" that Tuberville is interested in Miami. Look for Tech to open its pocketbooks to keep him.

The idiocy of this would be astounding. Tubbs came in and took a team with established players on both sides of the ball, completely changed the philosophy, and went 7-5 (including a now terrible-looking loss to Texas).mre said:This just means that Jimmy Sexton is "leaking" that Tuberville is interested in Miami. And half the reason they let Leach go was because they thought he would cost too much to retain. I'm convinced that the Adam James thing was just a convenient excuse.
You have to believe that Tubbs would go to the U if the job was offered. I doubt that they would want him, but who knows?
mre said:All I'm saying is that Sexton's clients have a habit of having their names pop up in relation to "prominent" D1 openings, and then a week or two later they have a new contract and are disclaiming every being interested in any other job. Has anyone connect to the U talked up Tuberville?
Texas Tech's Tommy Tuberville has told the school he will not pursue further the Miami job, the Austin American-Statesman reports.
So UF goes to visit 6'6" ESPNU150 WR Kelvin Benjamin and family on Tuesday evening. His family asked how long Urban Meyer would coach at UF. UF's coach compared Meyer's longevity to that of Joe Paterno. Less than 24 hours later, Meyer retired for the second time in a calender year.

Lea Michele and the cast of Glee were dressed in full pads last night in LA to film sort sort of football scene for the show. And then they beat UCLA by 10.
Loschak just wishes Newton hadn't thrown the laptop out of a University of Florida residence hall window.
"I could have had my laptop back fully working. Instead I got a broken, cracked laptop ... with 'Cam Newton' written on top," he said.

"I'll put it like this," Pryor told the newspaper. "You put me in any of their offenses - any of them - and I'd dominate. I'd dominate the nation. What those guys do, that's what they're supposed to do. You put me in any of their offenses, where I can run the ball and have a choice to throw, I would dominate college football."
If he wanted to play in an offense that utilized his talents, why the fuck did he go to OSU?timetokill said:Pryor seems a bit miffed about being overshadowed by Denard Robinson and Cam Newton and Persa and... well...

Pretty sure if the won 4 National titles he would have not been overhyped. Or how about a little less hyperbole and just say 1 national title? Dem babies don't grow on trees.bucknuticus said:Took you guys a while to get on this one.![]()
But, I dont have a problem with what Pryor said, he got asked a question and gave a honest answer, and one that is more than likely true. I can honestly see why Pryor is frustrated in a lot of the answers he gives. We see people like Denard and Cam getting all this praise, then we see TP getting shit on a lot, while TP is stilla very good QB. The problem with TP was the hype, he could have won 4 straight bcs champs and 4 straight heismans and still wouldn't have lived up to the hype.
ESPN is also really good at making things seem worse than they are, they quote like politicians on there. In the original article Pryor praised the other QBs, and said he doesnt care about stats, all he cares about is winning.
Read about that yesterday.timetokill said:Pryor seems a bit miffed about being overshadowed by Denard Robinson and Cam Newton and Persa and... well...
