Yeah its pretty sick,, instantly became one of my favorite covers..
And it also has the entire issue panel for panel but just the pencils, no word bubbles or anything in the back half of the book. This was my favorite part of the book.
My fucking god.. The penciling is amazing. The coloring doesn't even do it justice.

I've said it once and I'll say it again: every issue of Lobo where he's not being an over-the-top parody of a Mark Millar protagonist, which is the thing that has come to replace the hyperviolent Wolverine-Punisher-X-Force-Whatever of the 90s is a waste of ink and paper. But I still like that Lobo is devilishly handsome now.

José Luis García-López, on top of having an incredible name, is still a fantastic artist at 66 years old. I guess he's mostly retired now, but I love any bit of work he still does. They're reprinting some of his old work later this year(Deadman, Twilight, Cinder and Ashe), so look out for that. We're living in a rediscovery José Luis García-López age!

I was gonna say Darwyn Cooke's The New Frontier, but that is a great recommendation too.

In other news, I was busy with family stuff all weekend and forgot to vote! It would have been Pax at #1 (finally got my comics!) with Batgirl and Harley trailing behind.

Also, I'm glad I wasn't here for the last few pages... ya dirty dogs.

I finished Assassin's Creed Unity's main storyline and traded it in towards that hot Best Buy Wii U deal to get Smash Brothers and Tropical Freeze. I think I made the right choice.


Also I joined the ComicGAF Strangers in Paradise book club.

How was the Black Friday sale @ Comixology? I totally missed it, but the Cyber Monday sale wasn't any better than any of the other sales they've had in the past... I was kinda hoping for 49 cent comics rather than the standard 99 cents.

didn't buy a single book, looking at darkhorse now but i'm struggling to come up with the minimum $20 when all i want are the first five issues of Buffy season 10 and Serenity Leaves on the Wind six issues.

He deserves every bit of success he gets from this book. It warms my heart to see this though. I can't imagine a scenario where he doesn't want to finish this even if one of the big two pick him up. It's been his side project for quite a while.

semi - related, it turns out I accidentally have more Supergirl figures/merch than I should.

Preferably? Never.

Realistically, if you're serious about a woman, it has to be brought up on date #3 or 4. You wanna get that out in the open asap. If she's the kind to get freaked over dumb shit like that, best to find out sooner than later when you really start getting attached.
