I can only speak for myself but i didnt think the game was anything other than mediocre. A 6 or 7/10 game. Why does this game deserve more attention, if its bad its bad.

Uh I've played it - for about 2 hours total. I didn't give it negative impressions - apart ggraphically. Gameplay wise it's extremely promissing.

Does the level design lend itself to fun and entertaining coop?

Did you see any cutscenes? What did you like better, Mantel or the rebel side?

It certainly did in the driving section - 4 player vehicle. In the forest levels and indoor level it was all about killing the enemy, but I expect when there's nectar involved it could get interesting. Sadly they wouldn't let me plug in any other controllers. There didn't seem to be any extra tasks that needed 4 players to complete it - from what I played.

Not unpossible. I sat there on both days, asking Ubisoft reps lots of questions while I played through the levels, begging them to let me skip a couple. I didn't get to play as a rebel....but their Nectar misusage sounds great. Dipping their knives in nectar and throwing it at Mantels to make them overdose. Covering grenads in Nectar to throw into a room, so Mantel guys kill themselves. Or playing dead - which doesn't mean the enemy just sees a dead body - it means they see NOTHING. Being dead, means you dont exist to Mantel.

Watched lots of cutscenes - most of them in a plane/hanger. Voice acting seemed very good (wish they'd gone for brits instead of americans though :P ) Facial animation was poor - but it was all ingame. Couldn't skip the cutscenes (which is why i didn't get very far.)

Not sure about their map - just a compass really....I think it'll need a propper map when it's coop.

Yes I'm sure Ubisoft and Sony have a sales target that if not met, will mean they will have to think of other options.

But do you have to say it in such a trolling fashion? Does that make you feel good inside? You do realise there are nine 1 million sellers on the PS3. And about four over 2million? Or are you just saying it for shits and giggles....I'd say this thread is more full of shits.

Since the thread is still going, why don't you just post full impressions to bring some positivity back to it?

People asking you random questions is good and all, but not knowing exactly what of it you played would basically hinder what (if any) questions would be asked.

Funny, because thats what most PC owners think of Halo.

On the other hand the Timesplitters games were a hoot.

Yes. Narry a drop below 30fps....in fact you could see the framerate on it. No higher than 32fps, never below 29fps. I expect they'll easily get it locked for release.

Not to defend, but I've seen plenty of exclusive screen shots from other games posted around here without complaint.

Screenshots are fine...full articles are not. Otherwise you wouldn't have small websites giving their impressions, you'd just have neogaf saying a game was crap even though they hadn't played it :D

Last batch of screens looked great. Still, by reading the recent impresions it doesnt sound too hot. What did Sony see in this one?

Hopefully it'll be pretty good.
 
If you want to get an idea of how good the graphics are. Better than Army of Two, about the same as Halo 3 - though I like Haze foliage better and Halo lighting is better.

Sounds like it is locked, you are just seeing the error/round off in frame rate calculation. I doubt anyone could write and engine that stays within 3fps with vsynch unlocked. You could just stare at a wall or the ground and see if it jumps into the 50s to test.
