CG Trailers at E3 are hardly a new phenomenon.
When MS does it they must burn! I am shocked to hear this complaint so much. Are most new to E3 and expected gameplay constantly?

...but didn't people hate Crackdown 2?
So you didn't watch the conference....or the post show?
They specifically mentioned who was running the development of the new one.
Incredible to have it confirmed, hoping that destructibility in the trailer is actually in the game too...
Are we expecting this for 2015 or is this most likely 2016?
I'm currently at work. So no.
Was just a CG trailer. But. If shit like that is possible to do then it will be amazing.

My bet is a new internal studio at MS. I'd be very interested in finding out more...Curious which studio is helping Cloudgine developing the game since they are only about 15 people. Hardly the size to develop an AAA game.
I about pissed myself when I heard the voice. So stoked.
Powered by an army of dedicated servers crunching destruction physics. Get Hype!!

Crackdown wasn't ever really a AAA game though.
It was pretty bare bones sandbox.
Which is why it was awesome. No Cinma Feel.
wasn't it heavily implied it'd be online-only? or am I mistaken

Crackdown 2 was an abomination rushed to release. And it didn't have all the people from the original Crackdown working on it.
So this game will be completely cloud rendered?
That's the conference in a nutshell. I really wish companies would recognize cg isn't the reward to gamers it used to be. No one is amazed by pretty cg anymore. Show us the actual game. Crackdown, phantom dust, the Platinum game, halo 5...smh. Cg trailers are just one step above a simple verbal announcement.
