I'm not sure how that was disrespectful to either universe, though.

The fans decided, and I'm sure each company "massaged" the results so there were no imbalances.

I prefer JLA/Avengers because it was a different take on crossovers - it was freshing to see both meld so well in each other continuities (and they did). Marvel vs. DC felt like it was made for those who don't really read comics.

JLA/Avengers was boring as hell. DC vs. Marvel was fucking awsome im just disappointed that we never got a Superman vs. Spider-Man fight. Since I always viewed them as the "mascots" of their respected universes.

Reminds me of that ridiculous crossover with predator. JLA/predator crossover where they were predators...dressed like the JLA with the same powers.

There's no pretty much, Darkseid is a god in the literal sense of the world. Just not on our world.
